Goodnight Kisses

Chapter 7

3 days had gone by since the incident on Tuesday. It was now Friday night and Emily, Daniela and I were getting ready for a party we were invited to. Mum knew I was going to a party and said that it would be a good idea to invite my friends to get ready with. I wasn't sure about it at first, I'd never been the one to go to parties, but I thought i should change that.

I decided on a slick black jumpsuit  with black heels and threw a leather jacket on top. Emily decided on a strapless white short dress with white heels and Daniela decide on a black crop top and black skirt piece with matte black heels.

My hair was in a simple ponytail and since I have fairly long hair, the hair style fitted me perfectly.

Like usual, I grabbed my keys, my purse, my black over the shoulder bag and popped a single piece of gum in my mouth.

Austin didn't want to come at first but when he found out his whole 'badass' squad was coming, he couldn't say no (especially because we wouldn't let him).

Austin had agreed to meet us at my house and when we opened the door, we were greeted with a wolf whistle that set the whole mood.

"You girls look hot." he confessed.

Austin was wearing all black. I have to admit, he looks good in black. He wore black jeans and a black top with black shoes and looked totally hot in it. His hair was the same brown, wavy, texturized and messy hair that swooped down covering his sparkling brown eyes.

Daniela, Emily and I gave him a quick glare and strutted down the pavement towards the two cars parked outside. We looked hot and we knew it. Just something we like to call 'badass 101'.

Austin, Emily and Daniela all got into one car whilst I went with Nate in his car. I was kind of bumbed that I wasn't with my friends but Nate was as good as any to ride with. He complemented my outfit and I replied with a peck on the lips to say thank you. It had been our anniversary a few days ago and he decided to surprise me. Which he totally did! He is such an amazing boyfriend.

Once we got to the party Nate went off with his mates, which I was totally okay with.

I hung around Emily and Daniela whilst Austin went with his mates, flirting with the prettiest girls. Such a 'bad boy' move. The girls seemed totally oblivious to Austin's bad boy personality, drooling over his good looks and charm.

Emily and Daniela drunk a few drinks. She offered me some and I said no yet I don't think she cared and with totally no self control at all, she flung a bottle in my direction, expecting me to catch it.

I wasn't the type of girl that would drink, unlike my friends, I felt uncomfortable with the drunk atmosphere. Emily passed me a bottle and I stared at it for a while. Was I supposed to drink this? Emily was staring at me so I quickly chugged a little bit down, hating the burning sensation that passed through my body. The bottle still had a fair amount of alcohol in it.

"Hey baby." a familiar voice said, snatching the bottle out of my hand.
"Hey!" I shouted, turning around to see completely drunk Austin, guzzling down the rest of my drink until there was nothing left.

He laughed.

"Austin, your drunk." I chuckled.
"Drunk in love..." he said smoothly, a grin appearing on his face.
"Austin, your drunk." I repeated, chuckling once more.

He began to sing the lyrics to a song randomly.

"Gel come to my house. Baby take no troll now. Blah blah blah blah blah blahhhh. Jelcomji to my house." Austin sung horribly.

He was so drunk.

He pulled me close, gripping my wrist tightly.

"Austin your hurting me." I moaned as he pushed me against the wall, still gripping onto my wrist and pulling me even closer.
"Austin your hurting me, stop." I moaned even louder, flinching.
"Austin!" I screamed but he wasn't listening.
"Austin!" I screamed even louder, Nate eventually hearing my cry for help.
"Hey get of her! Get off my girlfriend!" Nate boomed.

Austin wasn't listening.

"Get off her!" He repeated pulling us apart angrily, causing me to fly back against the wall.

He then swung his fist right into Austin's face. I gasped in shock.

He grabbed Austin and pulled him across to a near by table, banging him into it. Trying to swing a few more. I was scared. I'd never seen that side of Nate before.

"Nate stop! Your hurting him!" I screamed in shock.

Austin pushed Nate off him. Throwing some punches and kicks like Nate had done to him.
But even harder.

Everyone was watching. Their mates both trying to pull them apart but just getting harmed in the process.

"Austin!" I screamed, watching them beat up each other.

Their punches forcing each other to fall back, each punch harder then the last.

I couldn't watch anymore so I tried to intercept. Daniela and Emily told me not to but I couldn't stand there watching my friend beat up my boyfriend and my boyfriend beating up my friend! As I tried to intercept, Austin was about to throw a punch, turning it into a slap as soon as he saw me, trying to stop his hand from going any further.

It hit me, causing me to scream in pain as I watched the two boys stop fighting.

"Aaliyah..." Austin cried, watching me flinch and take a few steps back, wondering what he'd do next.

"Austin?" I questioned, seeing the monster he'd unleashed.

Everyone was in shock.

"Nate, I told you to stop! You were hurting him." I cried, taking a deep breath holding my tears back.
"Austin, I told you to do the same! What where you thinking?" I snapped at him.
"What where you both thinking?!" I screamed.
"I-I-I can't!" I screamed once more, running out of the house, flinging the doors open.
"Aaliyah!" Austin and Nate both screamed back.

Nate stood in shock whilst Austin came running back to me. Still drunk but realising what he'd done.

"I told you to stop Austin." I mumbled.
"I told him to stop because he was hurting you." I exclaimed, my eyes shedding a tear.
"Why didn't you listen?" I questioned, thoughts racing through my head.
"You know what, never mind. I'm leaving. See you around school." I said, fed up with all of this, not even waiting for his reply.

I got into the car with Emily and Daniela and headed off back to my house. Emily dropped me and Daniela home before driving all the way back to her house.

I cried myself to sleep that night. Not just because of the pain, but because I saw the monster in both Nate and Austin and I wasn't sure how to contain them and whether they could do the same...
