Most times the hardest patients are the one who usually cure the patients.Doctors are known to be the hardest patience to care because they seem to know everything or at least think they do & Paul was no exception to the rumor .When he went to the doctors office first they diagnosed him with stress he was skeptical because he knew what cancer looked like .But even though he was for sure he had some type of cancer the doctor told him it was just stress. Even with the doubt in the back of his head he said okay and went on with his life because doctors are always right ,right?
This unsettled me so much because he was misdiagnosed and what if he was diagnosed earlier would he have lived ?would he have been able to be cured. This leads me to ask should misdiagnosing be crime ?
Yes I know accidents happen when an I accident involves someone life shouldn't someone be held accountable shouldn't someone be punished? This sounds harsh but when someone's life is in the balance their. Being misdiagnosed leaves so many people with regret and guilt. I'm pretty sure his wife lived with so many regrets ,maybe if she would have pressed him to see a different Doctor he would have gotten properly diagnosed and maybe started treatment earlier. Maybe if he would have gotten a second opinion this could have been caught earlier. All these are questions Pauls family has to ask know because a misdiagnosis.
This also leads me to believe that not all doctors are correct and even I could be getting misdiagnosed. Not everything is completely correct especially when it comes to the art of medicine.
