Life and Death.
What do you do when you know your life is coming to an end ? How do you prepare yourself for death ? How do you live life to the fullest when death is banging at the door only moments from coming in?
Many people say live each day like it's your last . But how do you that with impending doom lingering over you?
How do you live life like its your last when you're unhappy ? Depression is a side effect of knowing you're gonna die , and yes I know everyone dies I am not that ignorant to not know the basics off life. But their is a difference from knowing that everyone dies one day. To putting a time span on your life ,from putting a stamp on how long you'll live.
Even the strong yield at the word 'death'. When Paul was told he was going to die and that their was no way to treat him he broke down. It is no way to properly handle death whether it's yours or someone else's. No one is happy going into death especially if you suffer.
Paul suffered a lot in his last months and many people told him to be strong and keep fighting but it's a lot easier to fight when the fight is not yours.
Death itself is hard to handle but when it's a slow painful one like cancer it is unbearable. Many think about giving up like Paul in the book it states "I woke up in pain, facing another day no project beyond breakfast seemed tenable. I can't go on, I thought." Maybe he was talking about giving up and maybe he was talking about suicide either way both of these are a side effect of death.
The side effects of death are worst than death at some extent. Depression ,thoughts of suicide ,hopelessness ,anger. These are all side effects of death. Their is no peaceful way to go when all you have to think about are the side effects
