The next evening. Saturday evening I was sitting in the living room with my legs over the arm of the chair on my phone. My brothers were playing a board game and my dad was watching the news.
I wasn't paying attention but one things in particular caught my attention.

"Car crash right outside of Payton Falls some time last night. Young girls body found three hundred feet from vehicle. The girl has been identified as Zoe Davis. If any more information on this matter is known please contact....." I zoned out after. I was responsible for this.
"Camden, did you know this girl?" my dad asked.
I looked at him. "No, I think I see her at school a few times, but nope never actually met her."
"Such a pity, kids out partying last night. Something had to happen. There is always a punishment for sin. Some learn it the hard way."
