First Sight

Carey's POV

I woke up to loud violent banging on my 'room' door. "wake up bitch! You need to make us breakfast!" one of the pack girls shouted.
Yes, that's how I am woken up. No good morning. But I'm good though.

I tried to stand up but only to fall back down hissing in pain due to my injuries sustained from last night's beating. I put my pain aside and dragged my aching body down to the kitchen.

I passed a few teenagers on my way down chatting away to their friends. A frown made its way upon my face as I watched friends interacting with each other and smiling and laughing. I wish I could be like that again, but I cant. As we know everything happens for a reason and I have to learn to accept that.

I started taking out pancake mix and mixing them together. Then two brunette girls came into the kitchen, "have you heard about the new pack that's coming next week?"

" Yeah. I heard that their Alpha is so sexy and mate less. I wish that I'm his mate." the girls talks and giggles.

I didn't know that another pack was coming. I wonder what for? Oh well I'm insignificant anyways. I just ignored them and went back to what I was doing. I had to make breakfast for only the children of the pack, which was about only 254. My pack consisted of exactly 568 members.

I made enough for everyone then served it to them. After i was done i made my way to my room and went to take a shower and prepare for school. When I was choosing my outfit I heard a knock on the door. I tensed up a little because I didn't know who was there.

I then relaxed seeing as the only one who knocked so gently was my brother. "You can come inside." I said. He entered and was holding a plate of two pancakes stacked upon each other.

"I just just came up here to give this to you. And to tell you that if I could I would make everything better. You know that right?"

"yeah I know. It's not your fault. "

" but it's not yours either. You shouldn't be going through all of this."
I just sighed and looked at the ground finding my toes suddenly interesting. He then pulled me into a brotherly hug and I let a single tear fall from my eye. We stood there for about a minute and then he let go and was starting to leave.

"oh and I forgot to tell you that there will be a pack visiting us next week."

"oh okay" I replied. He gave me a sad smile and headed out the door.

~At school~

School was like every other day. I got pushed, kicked and shoved and Called disgusting names. Just another ordinary day. Nothing interesting happened today. Luckily i didn't get any beatings from anyone.

They said that they wanted me all healed so that anyone would not ask any questions or see my bruises. Although I'm sure that the big ones wouldn't heal quick enough.

Luckily one of the pack members gave me concealer to hide the huge gash on my cheek.

~Next Week~

The pack omegas and I were preparing meal for the visiting pack. The house was busy with everyone else making the necessary preparations. We made baked and stewed chicken, mashed potatoes, curried rice, pink beans and pasta. The table was packed.

We decorated the back yard for the bon fire after dinner so that the packs will get a chance to socialize with each other. A minute later all the higher ranking people went out side and stood to meet our guests. Current Alpha, soon to be Alpha, Current Beta, soon to be Beta, current Delta and soon to be Beta.

Alpha stood in the middle and the middle and his beta stood on his right while the delta stood on his left. We all went on our merry ways and left them alone. But I stood staring out the window of my 'room'. My wolf wanted me to and I could feel that something was going to happen but I didn't know if it was good or bad.

As soon as the first vehicle came into view, the most mouth watering smell filled my nostrils. It was of watermelons and coconut with little bit of woodsy smell. It was faint and I wanted more of it.

I waited anxiously for the owner of the smell to reveal them self. As soon as the first car was parked and the door was opened the sexiest specie I've ever laid eyes on emerged from the car. He looked sexy no fuck! God!

My wolf was purring in satisfaction at how sexy her mate looked. I was finally content for a second until my light was dimmed at the realization of him rejecting me. He raised his nose in the air inhaling it and sighing in satisfaction. I saw him looking around him to identify the owner of the scent.

His eyes suddenly met mine through the window and held it there for what seemed about half a minute. He was then rudely interrupted by the Alpha as he reluctantly tore his gaze away. 'get down now so that you can serve our guests. And don't embarrass our pack you worthless piece of shit.'
' yes Alpha' then the link was cut off and i made my way back to the kitchen.

Just as I stepped in the kitchen Alpha entered the front door followed by everyone else including the other pack. They went in the meeting room followed by everyone else except the omegas and I.

~Unknown POV~
"good evening everyone. I would like to introduce you to the Silver lake Pack. They have taken time off to come and help us so I would like you to treat them with respect. Now I give you the Alpha of the Silver Lake Pack, Alpha Chase Daniels."
