Jealousy Is An Ugly Colour

"What's your name little one?" he asked me.
" I-its Carey. Carey Black."
"Carey." the way my name rolled off his lips made chills go up my spine. "W-what about you? What's your name?" i asked. I mentally cursed myself for stuttering. "Its Chase. Chase Daniels." he said copying my actions so I did the same. "Chase." i tried his name out and i saw him shiver.
It made me hapoy to know that I had an effect on him.

After our little 'moment' we borke apart and headed towards the back yard for the bonfire with him holding my hand and leading the way. When we reached I wasn't surprised to see everyone interacting an I noticed that some of them even found their mates.

The girls who saw us had both disgusted an shocked looks on there faces. He walked up to the front with me still and said, "Excuse me everyone!" Everybody stopped what they were doing and payed attention to what was going on. "I am proud to announce that I have just found my mate an Luna of my Pack. Carey Black."

As soon as thise words left his mouth, shocked gasps filled the air and whispers flooded the place. "You stupid bitch!" A brunnette girl walked up to me shouting at my face. "You knew I wanted him to be my mate but yet still you take him as always. Always taking someone elses' man. Fucking slut." A loud and dangerous growl came from chase's chest silencing everyone.

His face looked as if he was going to murder someone very soon. "How dare you speak to my mate like that?" he snarled at the brunnette, his voice dripping with venom. She shirnked back in fear at his tone. "I-i..."

"Don't you ever speak to my mate like that ever again. You understand? Or I swear to God you will not like the consequences." I heard her whimper and she nodded her head then ran to where ever she came from.

"Now let that be a lesson to anyone who thinks about insulting my mate. Now you can all continue on with your businesses." after that he came up and held me in the waist and buried his face in my neck. I felt him visibly relax and soon after he started drwing little circles on my waist. "You didn't have to do that you know." i said in his chest.

Because of the height difference, my face was to his chest while his chin touched ontop of my head. He shook his head no. "Of course i did. No one's going to disrespect you;not while I'm here." i just hummed a response enjoying the butterflies that erupted in my stomach and the sparks flying between us.

"I'm gonna go find my brother so I can introduce you two. Be right back." he reluctantly let me go and I skipped inside the house to look for him. I smelled him so it means that he's close by. While walking a strawberry-blonde girl came up to me. She had a beauty disorder and so did the slutty dress she was wearing.

She crossed her arms in front of her chest. I tried moving around her but she blocked her path and cleared her throat then said, "listen here slut! Alpha Chase is mines so I suggest you saty away from him before someone gets seriously hurt."

I just scoffed ignoring her attempt to threaten me, and with a new found confidence said," Jealousy is an ugly colour on you and oh yah... That dress is too." I then strutted away like a boss and left her there standing like a frightened codfish.... Which in fact she did have a resemblance too.

Anyhoo... I found my brother at the kitchen counter talking to a very familiar looking girl. "Oh hey Carey. There's someone I would like you to meet. Carey this is Jhalil, my mate and Jhalil this Carey, my sister."

My eye balls almost fell out of my head when he said that. Me and Jhai did little girly squeals and hugged each other. This is probably the happiest and free that I've felt in a really long time. "That's great! I also have news for you. I found my mate and I want to introduce you two. So c'mon let's go go go!"

I was ectstatic and felt like a little girl who ate five bags of sweets. I pulled his arms and led him outside back to where I once was. All my happiness and excitement immediately vanished when I saw Chase talking to a blond girl. Jealosy then took their place as I starred coldly at them.

I walked up to them and cleared my throat loudly. Their attention snapped onto me and the girl smiled warmly at me showing off her dimples while Chase glared at my hand which was linked with brother's, probably not liking that I was touching another male.

I'm not gonna lie, she was beautiful. "Oh Kayla this is my mate Carey and Carey this my cousin Kayla."
"It's very nice to meet you luna." she stretched out her had for me to shake. "It's nice to meet you too Kayla."

"wait... Luna?! You're mated to him?!"
"And who are you exactly?"Chase asked pulling me away from him. "I'm her brother."
"Oh well in that case then... It's nice to meet you."
" You better treat my sister good or else."
"Don't worry. She's in the best hands. I wont ever hurt her."

He said the last part more to himself while looking directly in my eyes.
