Inside the safety of the suite, the kids convene in the bedroom after thanking Mr. Parkerson for taking them out.
"What do we do?" Emma asks anxiously. "Do we tell our parents or..."
"No!" Colton and Rhea cry in unison.
"Knowing our mom, if we tell she'll have this whole place on a search for this guy. Having him know we're on to him is probably going to make this situation more dangerous than it already is," Rhea says.
"Yeah, right now he just seems to be watching; he's not actually doing anything. We don't want to give him a reason to act sooner than he plans to," Colton adds.
"When does he plan to?" Leeanna asks. The response to that is silence.
"We can't just sit here and let that stalker spy on us," Gerald points out.
"We don't really have a choice," Howie counters.
"Howie's right. The safest thing is for us to stay calm and pretend like everything is normal," Colton says.
"Until we find out what his plan is. We can't do anything about something when we don't know what that something is, because we don't know what to do about a something when we don't know what the something is that we're doing something about." Rhea says.
"Somehow I understood that even though it was pretty much word salad," Gerald says, looking at Rhea confusedly.
"Me too," Emma comments curiously. "But, I feel that if it was anyone else that said that I wouldn't know what it meant."
"Same," Howie agrees.
"We have a psychic connection, remember," Colton points out.
"I don't really get the whole psychic connection thing. I mean, I know we have it, like I can feel it. But, what is it?" Gerald asks.
"A metaphysical link between two people that results in a feeling of synchronization and unity," Colton says.
"That didn't clarify anything. It just made it more confusing," Emma says, looking at Colton with a blank expression of zero comprehension.
"That went way over my head," Gerald says.
"A psychic link is a connection between two or more people that lets them understand, empathize, and sync with each other more than anyone else." Leeanna explains. When that doesn't clear things up as much as she intended, she adds, "It's pretty much 'twinstincts' but with people that aren't twins."
"Oh..." Gerald nods. "I get it."
"Why didn't you just say that in first place?" Howie wants to know.
"It was the first thing that came to mind," Colton says with a shrug.
"Back to subject of our stalker, the plan is just to ignore him until we find out what his plan is, right?" Rhea asks.
"Yes," Colton says.
"Kids?" A voice calls outside the door, Ms. Lawrence's. Gerald opens the door.
"Hello, Mom," He greets her.
"Hey, sweetie," She ruffles Gerald's hair and gives him a hug. She looks at Howie's frowning face. "Hello, Howie."
"How did you all fancy the pool?" Ms. Lawrence wants to know.
"It was fun," Leeanna says simply, before anyone else could say something too revealing.
"Good. Well, we were thinking. if it's alright with you guys, we could have dinner at one of the less crowded reservation restaurants." Ms. Lawrence asks.
