Chapter 15

I pulled her off me and Illea tried to pin her hands behind her back, damn. She uses her speed to her advantage. I step far away but still in hearing distance. She's yelling at me for thinking I was one of them. Illea lost her grip and Clove came running towards me. I not only realize she's beating the shit out of me, but also, the reaping is in literally one week. I worry myself and try to calm Clove and Illea is behind me shouting what's going on to Clove. She immediately stops what she's doing and I say, "The reaping is in a week."

Clove Pov
Not only am I glad that the reaping is in a week, I also talked to my trainer about a month ago and I am going to volunteer. I've been wanting to die ever since I started training, ever since I was getting abused, when I was bullied at the academy until I beat their asses. I run up to Cato and hug him, he looks at me shocked but hugs back. The warmth of his body, his tight grip. He's just perfect. I pull his neck down and kiss him and he kisses me back. I wanna stand there for years and let this moment live on. I don't want it to end or go anywhere. It just needs to be my moment forever. We pull away and I bit my lip smile and look down, Illea is behind us gagging and I laugh. Right behind me Illea is starring like its Jennifer Lawrence (A/N that's Queen J-Law to you 😂) I see that it's her crush Liam and she just stares I laugh a bit and lip to her, 'go get em kitty' why is it hot tiger you ask? Because we were talking about the line and because a tiger is related to a cat, we call it kitty. She goes up to him and he hugs her. I laugh my ass off at this reaction and get back to kissing Cato. (No, they did not make out.)
