Facts From A Brat

I did what my mother told me and I went to school. But now I had something to tell Brad. But I was surprised that my mom didn't ask who knew about me. When the first class started, I walked up to Brad who was sitting so comfortably in my old seat.
"You know that was my old seat," I say to him in monotone. I was curious if he was still being stubborn and mean. He glared up at me, and simply moved over to gesture that I should sit next to him. I guess he was still being rude.
"Now you can sit here too," he said. I could feel the heat rush to my face as I blushed. I was going to walk to the other side regardless of the open space now. I was walking over, when he reached out, and grabbed my wrist and pulled me down. I was forced to sit down next to him. There would have been enough room for six people to sit here but he only left just enough room for one person to sit down, leaving a large gap between him and the wall, which annoyed me a lot.

The class was just going to end and Brad got up to leave the class, but I didn't move because I needed to talk to him.
"Can you please move? I have to go," Brad said very rudely. He seemed to stress the word please.
"What if I don't? You know you have been acting really rude lately. More so than I first met you and I don't know what it's all about but anyway, I have to talk to you at lunch, so can you please meet me at the gazebo," I ask.
"Fine. You'll meet me there. As for me being rude, you know maybe that's what I am truly like and being nice is just a show," he said.

When lunch came around I wanted to prove Brad wrong, and be at the gazebo first so I went there as soon as the bell was done, without even putting my books away in my locker. I was walking there, only 1 minute after the bell, and he was standing there with his arms crossed looking my way. I walked over to him, making sure I didn't trip this time. I walked up the few steps to the platform and greeted Brad,
"Hey," I said.
"Hi, I'm so sorry I was being so rude to you earlier, I don't mean to be mean it happens sometimes. So what did you want to talk about?" That was a shocking statement. He was being so nice now, when he was being a jerk earlier. I have no idea what his actual personality was.
"I think I figured out what you were trying to tell me earlier about how my real parents weren't human. My adopted mom told me that my actual mom was a witch," he just nodded his head.
"My mom was a witch as well. Do you know anything about your dad? Or maybe what kind of witch your mother was," he asked.
"I don't know anything else about my mom. As for my real dad, I have no idea because my adopted parents said that my real mom never told them anything about him. And what do you mean what kind of witch," I ask.
"Let me explain. There are five kinds of witches or wizards. A witch or wizard's family will have focused on one type of magic," Brad explains.
"So like they can be different elements," I ask.
"Kind of," he responds. "They aren't exactly elements but a magic being can specialize in 4 kinds of magic. Elemental magic is the most common form of magic, it can control 3 elements: earth, water, and fire. Sky magic is the next kind of magic. It is special though. The wind and flying magic is common, but rarely there are some witches or wizards that use special healing sky magic. Creation is the second rarest magic. It allows the user to create any physical object they can think of. However they can't create a thinking creature like a dog or person, only vegetation. Darkness is the last and rarest power, which is the power of boundary manipulation, subjective reality, and absolute existence. It is extremely rare now for a witch to have even one of these abilities," Brad concluded. That was a lot for my brain to take in.
"So will I find out what kind of magic I use when I turn seventeen, so in two days? And what kind of magic do you use? I'm assuming you're a wizard because you know so much about this," I said. He nodded his head.
"Yes I'm a wizard and I can use absolute existence, so I have complete control over myself. I can change my shape size, any boundary of my body can be changed at my will. I got that from my mother and my dad was a creation wizard, so I have some of those abilities now." Brad decided that he needed to prove it to me, so he quickly glanced around to make sure no one was looking, and changed his school clothes into a tuxedo, and made a purple rose grow in his hand. My jaw dropped into a surprised and awed look.
"As for what kind of magic you will use, you'll know after your birthday. I noticed that your birthday is on a supermoon, and that is special, it means you will have strong powers," he said. I looked him up and down.
"Don't you think that outfit is kind of cheesy," I asked.
"Ya your right," and he changed back to normal clothes. It was weird to watch. There was a dark coloured light that surrounded his body, and all I could see was his clothes melding into his body and then it was like the fabrics grew onto him. He was back to normal once the light died down.
"Thank you so much for telling me everything," I said. I checked my watch, and realized the end of lunch bell was about to ring.
"Sorry but I should probably go so I'll talk to you later." I started to walk away, and I waved to him, and he waved back.
"Oh, and Rebecca, I'll keep an eye out for you. You know us witches and wizards got to stick together," he said as I walked away. He gave me a big smile and walked out the other side of the gazebo.
