Blood Moon

The moon continued to rise, with no changes that I could feel. The sky was bright tonight, because it was a super moon, it was 14% larger than usual and lit up the sky with a pale moonlight. The night went on with no effects.
"Is anything going to happen," I ask Brad.
"I'm not entirely sure because my parents forced my magic on me when I was ten so I don't know how it naturally happens," he answered

The night was finishing, I could see that the moon was just about to touch the horizon. I was exhausted so I laid down and closed my eyes to go to sleep, when I closed my eyes, I doubled over, bolting upright and threw up all over the ground. It wasn't ordinary vomit though, it was red and purple. I vomited again and it was back to normal. My stomach hurt a lot now and I saw the moon again,  it was almost a quarter past the horizon. I felt a searing pain like burning my hand on a straightening iron all across my body. I hunched over and fell out of the car and onto the ground. I yelled at the top of lungs and the scream was cut short. My vocal cords closed in and I couldn't scream, only groan in pain.
I saw Brad mixed with black dancing dots in my vision. It was blurry to make out but I think I saw him with his legs crossed and a crooked smile on his face. I doubled over again and it felt like my shoulder blades were trying to slide up my back into my neck. I managed to scream again. My skin was tearing apart by a force coming from inside of me. I felt something start to come out of my back, tearing through the muscles and growing onto the bone. Whatever it was, I couldn't see it, but I could feel it growing longer and larger. My eyes were scrunched closed in pain. I peeked open and saw the moon again and it was three quarters past the horizon.
"My head," I yelled. "Help!" I cried for help from Brad, even though there was nothing he could do. I glanced his way and saw that he was surprised, but almost in a happy way. My head was also revolting against my body. I felt another thing starting to grow, but this time from my head. It tore open my skull, and from it I could feel something growing. After that thing finished, my body was starting to feel better. At least as much as it could. I was able to get up onto my knees from being on the ground. I was panting in pain and another wave hit me. I arched backwards and screamed. I could see what was happening now. A dark light similar to Brad's when he changed his clothes surrounded me and grew larger. The only way I could describe it would be if you were to have a black prism and the light went through it, all of the colors of the rainbow would be kind of black. All of those colors swirled around me.
I saw the moon again, and only a sliver was left above the horizon. The light around me expanded in an instant into a bright white light. I think it looked like I was in the center of a white bonfire and it felt like it too. The pain was excruciating, I grabbed my head in despair, just wanting it to end. I screamed one more time and then the pain died down. The white, flame like light disappeared into the sky and the searing pain and the headache all started to disappear. I saw the moon again and it was completely past the horizon now. My body felt sore but it was bearable now. I tried to stand up and as I was putting my other leg up my legs collapsed, but Brad caught me.
"I told you, don't make me have to catch you again, it's annoying." Brad scowled at me and then dropped me on the ground.
"Gah," I screamed in agony. Whatever was now attached to my shoulder blades does not like to be dropped like that.
"Why did you do that," I yell at Brad. My voice was raspy, I think it's because my vocal cords closed in on themselves earlier.
"I was simply putting you down the way that you would have fallen. I told you not to make me catch you again," he remarked. I scowled at him.
"Do you have a mirror," I ask him rudely. I was dying to see what happened to my body when I went through all of that pain. Brad waved his hand, ushering me toward him. I got up and stepped forward, and he pushed me back down to the ground.
"What was that for," I ask him very angrily.
"Two reasons. For making me stay up all night and because I want to see the limit of your patience," he said. I scowled at him again.
"Maybe now isn't the time. Where's a mirror," I ask again. I am getting really fed up with Brad right now. He scowls and points back toward the main cars that he lives in. I decide to crawl, because standing hurts so much. Brad looked down at me pitifully, then picked me up and threw me onto his back and piggy backed me to his home.

He threw me onto the couch and went to the kitchen for something. At least he dropped me on my stomach this time. He came back with a bottle of something.
"What is that," I ask him. It was a vomit coloured liquid in a plastic water bottle.
"Drink it," he ordered and tossed me the bottle. I suspiciously looked at him, and took a sip and I instantly spit it out. It was disgusting.
"What is this? Are you trying to poison me or something," I yell at him.
"It will help, just drink it," he yelled back at me. I looked up at him in both fear and anger. I took a sip, and managed to swallow it but it did not go down easily. I kept drinking, and Brad nodded for me to finish it. I managed to finish it, and I dropped the bottle on the ground. I wanted to get up to go the mirror to see what I looked like, but all of my muscles went limp and I couldn't feel anything anymore. The pain wasn't there, but neither was the control of my body. I also felt sleepy and my eyelids got heavy. Soon I fell into a deep sleep.
