Chapter 09

Eunbi's POV:

I was major shocked that Yejin is going to marry Jeon Jungkook. He's my cousin after all. Well he's kind, tall, loveable and the most important thing is that he's handsome. So freaking handsome.

When we're little, I always thought to be Jungkook's girlfriend. But after we grew up I realized that his just too good for me and I found somebody else to love.

Well... The person is... Kim Taehyung. Just who doesn't like him? He's handsome and very kind. Some people just hate him because he's a poor guy and his father died and his mother is a maid.

Actually I liked him when I first met him.

Flashback

I was walking with Yejin to the canteen. Then I saw this guy. He's tall and handsome and I haven't seen him before in this school. Then I poke Yejin. "Ya, don't you think that that guy over there is cute?"

She just simply nod. Honestly from my opinion she's not paying attention because she was reading a love story novel that time. I just sigh...

Then the next day, I was walking to the bathroom when I saw that guy again. I just want to greet him and ask him what's his name. Then I slowly went to him from the back but suddenly Yejin who was walking the opposite direction with me bumped into him and that made her books fell.

At first I want to help her but because that guy was there so I just hide at one of the corner. Then I heard them speak.

"I'm sorry I didn't see you. I was so careless" Yejin said

"Nah its okay, you didn't hurt me though" he replied as he help her to pick up the books.

"By the way, what's your name?" She said as she wipe dust that was on her books.

"Ouh well I'm Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. What's yours?"

"I'm Yejin. Park Yejin."

"Well what a nice name."

"Yours too."

"So.. Hope well meet again sometime"

"Yeah sure..." She said as she walk away.

I quickly ran into the bathroom and wash my face. So his name is Kim Taehyung. He's cute though. But why it must be Yejin and not me who bumped him? Ugh I hate this feeling.

I went back to the class and sat beside Yejin. She suddenly turn towards me and said "did you know that earlier I bumped into this tall cute guy and his name is Kim Taehyung? Gosh he's so perfect.."

I just listen about what she says and replied with a nod. I just can't believe that Yejin said that she's starting to like him.

Until one day, she came up running to me like there was a robber chasing her.

"Eunbi-ah... Tae..taehyung.. He just ask ... Me.. To date him.." She said while panting.

My heart just broke into million pieces by hearing that. I thought that if I tell her that he's poor she will reject him but it doesn't. It just make her to like him more.

Well I had talked to him twice. But that just only him asking about Yejin. That just actually annoys me. But what should I do? Yejin is my best friend. I wouldn't hurt her just because of a guy. It's not even productive.

After that, their relationship is official and all the school knows about it. Some people just hate her because she is dating a poor guy but some people just support their relationship.

End flashback

And that made me single until now.

Out of the blue, Yejin asked me this question.

"Do you perhaps.. Have any feelings for Taehyung? Like.. Do you like him?

I was very shocked but I just decline it with a "no".

" oh please eunbi, I know you have something. Please be honest with me" she beg with that pretty face of hers.

"Fine, I do. I do like him. Very much. Since the first day I saw him at the canteen when you weren't even listening what I said." I let it all out. Fiuh it feels a lot better.

"Thanks for telling me. Thank you for being honest. I love you eunbi" she said as she hug me tight.

"I'm sorry Yejin, I'm very sorry.."

"Kringgggggg" the bell rang and that means that we all need to go back to class.

We went back to class just to see Taehyung and his guy friends talking and laughing. Until this one girl say, more like shouted "Ya park yejin! Is it true that you're gonna get married?"

Her face was surprised and turned into red because of humiliation or maybe anger.

"No she's not. Where did you hear that? God rumors these days are so lame" I said to back her up.

"I was just asking and btw I was asking her and not you"

"Well that's what best friends are for. Don't you know? Oh yea I forgot that you don't have one haha" I said as I took Yejin's hand and walked to her table.

"Thank you" she whispered.
