PART FOUR
" Try as you will, you cannot annihilate the eternal relic of the human heart "
As soon as Zayla saw the form of the lightsaber she gasped. Getting on her hands and knees she brushed some of the cold snow away from the ice to get a better look. There in the ice, a woman was frozen. Her eyes were frantic and worryful, her mouth open as if she was in the middle of a war cry and her dark brown hair was iced floating. Backing up a bit Zayla looked at her, almost scared.
What happened to this..this Jedi? Or was she just a scavenger who found this lightsaber? Did she fall in? Or did something else happen to her? Zayla rushed over to the hut, anxious to tell San Draen her news.
"San Draen! San Draen!" She shouted into the little hut.
"Yes?" He said slowly while throwing lettuce into a steaming pot.
"I saw a Jedi! Or I think it's a Jedi. She-she is frozen into the ice!"
San Draen's head jerked up from the boiling pot, "Show me."
Zayla nodded quickly before she bolted outside, she ran to the frozen girl, breathing hard. But San Draen reached the frozen girl slowly and carefully. And when he reached to the girl he took in a sharp breath. Zayla cocked her head at him, "You know her?"
"Yes." He said quietly.
"How?" She asked.
"She was my daughter."
Zayla took a step back, "Your daughter?!" He nodded, "Did you know she was here?" Zayla waved her hand at the ice.
"Of course not!" San Draen said angrily.
"Who did this to her?"
San Draen closed his eyes in grief and Zayla took the cue to shut up. Zayla looked at the girl and then her lightsaber. Looking at San Draen she saw his eyes were still closed, carefully holding her hand up, focusing on the Force around the lightsaber, she pulled. Not expecting warmth in her hand, she gasped. The lightsaber shook in the girls hand, and soon flew right into Zayla's.
San Draen slowly opened his eyes to look at his daughters lightsaber in Zayla's hands. "Yes, the prophesy is coming true Yoda."
"San Draen..what is the prophesy?" Zayla asked, ignoring San Draen saying the name Yoda.
San Draen grunted, "Almost as long as the anchient books. But I will tell you some. But not all. For knowing the future, ruins many things. Life itself."
"Like what Anakin Skywalker did." Zayla said feeling a pang in her heart remembering Anakins grandson.
San Dran sighed, "That boy..." San Draen did not continue. All he hoped was that he had the right idea of this prophesy not like the older Jedi had with the first one. If he was thinking like them the prophesy would be dark, and then soon would be Zayla. Just like Anakin.
"Let us go inside San Draen." Zayla said rubbing her arms.
"Yes, that would be a good idea." Before returning to his warm hut, San Draen watched as Zayla quickly went inside before turning to his iced daughter, whispering to her, "I will take care of her Sarai. I will take care of your precious daughter. I swear."
