Chapter 4
Hoodless and unmistakably stylish, his spangled red vehicle was sure to catch every eye's attention, as Zayn pulled the 4 wheeler into the open school parking-lot. Gasps of female admiration and a few stink eyes from the envious dudes were generated smoothly, as the utterly attractive guy, quit the driving seat of the Camaro and stepped down onto the asphalt, a black hood encasing the roof of the car in the process.
Striding up to the huge brick-building's entrance, as he suppressed a smirk due to all the attention he seemed to be receiving, a tiny frame stood against one of the auburn walls caught his attention. A deliberate beam pinned itself to his lips at her sight, as his feet gravitated towards the pretty brunette on their own accord, fingers ridding his eyes of the Ray Bans that were perched atop his nose.
"Bragger much?" An eyebrow was quick to be raised by the girl, as Zayn rested his palm against the wall behind her.
"Just being me," He shrugged with a smirk, dipping his face down a little, to immediately be welcomed with a smack against the chest.
"Seriously, Aveline you need to stop hitting me like that, it hurts!" He rubbed his hand against his sweater clad chest, protesting to the act his friend seemed to be in love with since the past day.
"Like what?" Lips curled into the shape of an 'O', as she pretended to not know what he meant. "Oh, this?" She showed realisation, spanking her fist against his brawny biceps now, as the two strolled towards their lockers.
She was merely three steps ahead of Zayn, when he suddenly grabbed her by the wrist, heaving the girl backwards into his chest, as his other arm bound itself around her waist. Shocked as she was, at his sudden transformation of behaviour, from utterly sweet to outright bold, she couldn't help but admire the striking shade of brown that his eyes acquired, the colour seeming as though it had been stolen from the season autumn.
"You don't really know how dangerous I am," He quietly declared, looking right back into her hazel eyes, causing them to be reverted from their brief daze.
"Maybe I don't," She huffed in an imitating tone. "But what I do know is, you're giving people a wrong idea," She spoke back confidently, whistles and coos going off around the duo now.
"Really? I don't see what exactly is so wrong about their ideas," He muttered, now smirking as Aveline shot him a glare. The inquisitive looks being flashed their way, only added to his merriness, as he patted himself in his mind, having succeeded in his attempt to make the two a look like a new thing in school now. Zayn was complying accurately with the instructions he'd received; his mentors definitely wouldn't have a reason to not be proud of how this boy was carrying out their operation.
Aveline, on the other hand, struggled to find words to say. What was she supposed to say to this proficient flirt after all? It was when the warning bell went off, that she felt relief wash over her.
"I'll get back to you, you cocky twat," She declared, heaving him away, as Zayn's grip on her loosened, allowing them to part from their unforeseen brace. Shooting her a fake look of hurt, he hasted his way to the lockers with her, ignoring the several curious looks and the bantering faces people shot them on their way.

Having delivered a splendid project work – all praise to Aveline's knowledge and tactics – and quite some time spent upon scribbling down notes and observing other group works, the one hour long physics lessons was assigned an end to, followed by some torturous ones of Math, English and Biology. Being done with all the periods and making her way through the school passages, Aveline was joined by two known faces, casually walking along to match her pace now.
