*Our first stop is to Pennsylvania*

I  get on I-80 E in Frankfort Township from W 143rd St, 108th Ave, and W 179th St. The car was remarkably silent like someone was going on death row, and they didn't know what to say to that person. I look over to Violet, and of course, what do I see? I see her reading a book called A Mad Zombie Party. I read the book and loved it. I look in my rear view mirror and look at Skylar. She is looking out the window. They seem EXTREMELY overjoyed.

"Hey Sky can you  pick a song on your phone, and Violet would you find the aux cord for me please?" I say.

Violet stays still; she gets so into a book that it sucks her right in.

"VIOLET!!!" I scream.

"What did we die yet!" Violet says panicked.

Gee I felt so trusted. Behind me, I hear Skylar laughing.

"No we did not, can you please pass the aux cord?"

"Yeah sure!"

She hands me the cord and Skylar pass her phone with Pandora on. The first song that came on was Distance by Jack and Jack. Truthfully I thought that there was going to be an upbeat song and the girls would have a discussion, but that didn't happen they went back to do whatever they were doing. The song finished and then came on Honey, I'm Good by Andy Grammer. I smiled to myself, and I started to sing/scream.

"So Nah Nah Honey, I'm good I could have another but I probably should not I've got somebody at home, and if I stay I might not leave alone No, honey, I'm good I could have another but I probably should not."  I sang.

The girls finally look at me and smile; then Skylar joins in. I look over at Violet and nudge her. We all start to sing. When that song ended, I told them lets do something, or I might get bored. We began to sing some more till we got tired.

"Hey, Violet?" Skylar starts

"Yeah." Violet replies.

"I spy with my little eye..." She starts.

"You're joking right?" I laugh

"Listen, Nick, you have to understand one thing, and that is I am still a kid inside so don't judge me." Skylar says trying to be serious. I burst out laughing.

Aren't we all, anyway proceed I'm going back to my driving." I say, stifling a giggle.

"Anyway-" she starts I decide to tune her out so I can focus on the road.

------------------------------

After a couple of hours I was snapped out of my haze when a Cheetos bag came by my face. I was a little shock since I was so focused on the road I almost forgot I had people in the car.

"You want some before I eat all of it?" Violet says exuberantly.

"Huh, oh no thanks, I ain't hungry," I say a little agitated.

"You okay." Asks Skylar.

"Yeah, just focusing on the road." I answer.

"Makes sense, crunch crunch, how many hours left do we have till we get there? Crunch." Violet asks while eating.

I look at the GPS; we've been only on the road for 4 hours.

" We have...5 hours left till we get there, but hey it's a good thing we left at 9 am. We will arrive at around 6 pm." I say

"Yeah, but my butt hurts." Says Violet.

I look over at her with a smile until I saw she finished the bag.

"What are you the cookie monsters best-friend that eats chips instead of cookies?" I asked shocked.

"Yes, yes I am." Violet says.

I shake my head trying not to laugh to hard. I asked Skylar to pass me some water, then asked if Violet could open it for me. I took a couple of sips then handed back to her. We listen to some more music while I concentrated on the road. After a while, Violet speaks up.

"Nick guess what?" She asks.

"Huh?" I say with a smile knowing what comes next.

"Uggggghhhh!" she shouts.

"Oh same" Skylar says laughing.

I look at the GPS 4 hours to go then I realized what had happened. I turn to Violet.

"So you finished your book didn't you?" I ask.

"Yeah and there's nothing to do." Violet says exasperated.

"Read some watt- never mind it would drain your battery, I got some magazines if you want to read them and a book, but the book is in my suitcase," I say.

"Okay where are the magazines-" Violet was cut off by Skylar handing one of my magazines to her. I go back to driving. When I look at the GPS after a while, it tells me to keep left and merge onto I-80 E. Cool; we are almost there.

---------------------

After a couple of hours, we were driving through Pennsylvania.

"Okay Violet, where is your God Father's place?" I ask.

Oh, turn right on that isolated road and keep driving for 20 minutes and then turn left when you see a sign that says 'Welcome to Bald Eagle State Forest." Violet says while closing her eyes again.

After 20 minutes of driving, I turn left and see a mass of trees and knew we were close. Violet looks up and tells me where to turn. I pull up on the rocky driveway and am greeted with a small house surrounded by trees. It was about 8:30 pm when we got there.

"It's so cute and cozy." Skylar says.

Then we heard a gun fire.
