The Bad Boy's Angel

Chapter One: Detention

I got awoken by someone jumping onto my bed. I slowly open my eyes to see my five year old sister, Isabella looking down at me with a huge grin on her face. I couldn't help but smile.

"You have to get up!" Isabella exclaims, pulling the covers off me. I just laughed as I sat up.

"What time is it?" I rubbed my eyes.

"It's 7:30. David said to hurry up or he's going to leave you with no ride." I groaned as she said that. I moved my legs to hand over my bed, stretching my arms before I stood up. Isabella ran out of the room, probably to tell my older brother, David, that I was up.

I walked over to my closet. I grabbed a pair of skinny jeans and a simple black shirt. I put on the outfit before sitting back on my bed. I grabbed my white converse from the floor and slipping them on.

I walked into my bathroom that was connected to my bedroom. I looked into the mirror. God my hair was a mess. I grabbed my brush, brushing it through my soft brown hair getting rid of the bed head. I quickly applied make-up before heading downstairs so that I didn't keep David waiting any longer.

I saw David sitting at the kitchen table eating away at the bacon and eggs on his plate. I turned my head to see Ryder Knight, the notorious bad boy of the school and David's best friend, sitting next to David with his feet on the table and his arms crossed over his chest. He gave me a smirk as I walked through the kitchen. He was wearing black jeans with a black shirt and his leather jacket. I couldn't help but smile at the sight of him.

I kind of had a smile crush on him. I have liked him since the first day I met him three years ago when David came home with him. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was thirteen at the time and David and Ryder were fifteen.

It was Halloween. I was getting ready to go to some work party with my dad. Since I had no friends I was spending my Halloween with my dad at his works costume party. I had decided to dress up as an Angel.

Once I was done getting ready, I had walked downstairs to see David dragging Ryder in all bloody and bruised. He had gotten into a fight. He gets into a lot of fights but this was the first time I ever met him.

Snapping out of my thoughts I walked over to Ryder pushing his feet off the table. "The kitchen table is for eating. Not to put your dirty feet on," I said giving him a smirk.

"You know I don't care, Angel," he put his feet back on the table. I felt my smile widen. That nickname. I honestly loved that nickname. It reminded of the first time we met, when I was dressed as an angel. But of course I still tease him about calling me that.

"My name's Andi. Not Angel."

"I don't care....Angel," he gave emphasis on the word angel. I couldn't help but laugh.

"What are you even doing here, Ryder?" I asked him. He usually was never over before school. David usually would meet him at school. Not at our house.

"He's giving us a ride," I heard David say. "Mom's car is in the shop so she had to take mine."

"I hope that's not a problem, Angel," Ryder said as I grabbed an apple from the counter.

I shook my head. "Not a problem at all." It actually was a problem. If my boyfriend, Connor saw me near Ryder he would be furious. I started dating Connor a year ago. He was sweet then but six months later he became abusive.

I would leave but he said that if I leave him he would harm my younger siblings and more importantly he said he'd harm Isabella. I was stuck in a relationship I didn't want to be in. But I had no choice.

I just sighed as I took a bite of my apple.

"We should get going," Ryder said. He was now standing up. He was a little bit taller than David. My head came to the middle of the chest. I followed Ryder and David to the car. Ryder had many cars considering he was rich. He brought his black mustang for today. I got into the backseat waiting for them. They were talking about something before they got in. I didn't bother to ask them what they were talking about.
