I heard my door open which caused me to jolt up in my bed. I looked over to my bedroom door to see Ryder standing there with his signature smirk.

"Sorry to wake you," he said. "I was told to get you. Dinner's ready."

"You're eating dinner with us?"

"Yeah. You can't get rid of me that easy, Angel. Also Connor is coming over. Apparently you can't get rid of him either."

I sighed and told him I would be down in a minute. I walked into my bathroom to look in the mirror. My eyes were all puffy and red from the crying from earlier. I took a deep breath before leaving my bedroom and going downstairs. I walked into the dining room to see most people already sitting. Connor wasn't here yet which made me sigh in relief. I sat down next to Ryder who was sitting by David. They were talking about something I didn't care to much about.

I heard the door bell ring. I saw David get up to answer the door. A minute later he returned with Connor. I immediately tensed up at the sight of him. I looked down at the empty plate in front of me. Connor took a seat next to me. I could feel his eyes bore into. I knew he was still angry at me. Soon enough everyone was sitting and began to eat.

"So, Andi," I heard my mom speak up. I looked into her brown eyes as she spoke. "How's your grade in Geometry?" I groaned when she asked that. She literally asks me that question almost every single day. It irritated me that that was the only thing that mattered to her.

"Good," was all I said. She continued to talk but I tuned her out.

"I could probably tutor her in Geometry, Mrs. Scarlett," I heard Ryder say. I glanced over to him in shock. Him tutor me? "That was one of the classes I got an A in. I know shocker right?" He laughed which caused me to smile and blush a little bit.

"She doesn't need you to tutor her," Connor said. "She can get another tutor that the teacher can assign." My smile was now gone.

"That's not for you to decide."

"That's enough. No offence, Ryder but I'd prefer to get a reference from her teacher. I don't want your bad boy ways rubbing off on my daughter," my mom said as she took a bite from the food.

"Well you're the one who wants her to get an A but then don't want me to tutor her. I got an A when I took it. But go ahead, ask for a reference from Ms. Monroe." I gasped in shock as Ryder talked to my mom like that.

"Ryder, I think it's time for you to leave," my mom said. I heard Connor snicker by me.

"Fine," he said. He leaned next to me with his mouth close to my ear. "I'll see you later, Angel." That caused my heart to do a flip. I watched as he left the room.

"I like him," Carly, my thirteen year old sister said as she looked away from her phone. "No one has ever stood up to mom like that. That was awesome." I couldn't help but laugh.

"Carly, you need to shut your mouth or I'll send you to your room with no dinner. And that goes for you too Andrea."

"I'm not hungry," I said as I stood up. I went up to my room ignoring my mom who was calling me to stop. I sat on my bed. Connor had followed me. I almost forgot about our altercation earlier. I took a deep breath as he walked over to me.

"I don't want you near Ryder anymore," he gritted through his teeth. He grabbed my hair, pulling me off the bed. I cried out in pain as he pushed me hard to the ground.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly. The tears started streaming down again. He grabbed me by my hair again, yanking me up to my feet. He pushed my body against the wall. He started kissing my neck. I tried to push him away but he was too strong. "Please. I said I was sorry."
