Rosie's pov
It's been a week since the thing with Niall, and the girls didn't stop mocking me about it.
I just hid my face and went to Niall, we actually found an apartment in California where we want exactly, and our engagement news was all over.
"Whatcha doin babe" he asked
"Mm nothing" I smiled
"Wanna do something?"
"I don't know honestly, what about you?"
"I'm booking tickets for us."
"Ummm why?" I asked curiously.
"Surprise baby" he winked.
I groaned then chuckled.
I hopped on the bed, got my notebook and wrote something just came into my mind made me remember my first rejection...
"She is paradox, she is faithful yet detached, she is committed and yet relaxed. She loves everyone, yet no one. She is sociable but also a loner, she is gentle yet tough. She is passionate but can also be platonic. In short, she is predictable in her unpredictability."
I got tears in my eyes as I flipped another page and wrote another idea
"Don't fall in love like him. He will take you to museums and parks, and monuments and kiss you in a very beautiful place, so that you can never go back to them without tasting him like blood in your mouth. He will destroy you in the most beautiful possible. And when he leaves you will finally understand, why storms are named after people.
And once the storm is over, you won't remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won't be even sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person who walked in, that's what this storm is all about. "
At that moment I couldn't just stop writing, not holding my tears.
Niall noticed as he came up to me and pulled me against him.
Telling me he loves me and he'd never leave me.
Flashbacks are haunting me again, like a storm that never leaves.
I see Nialls and i's relationship like a piece of wood, flames hopping on it and leaving slowly, that some flames tiptoe on it making sure everything was calm, then the flames that make everything chaotic, makes sure we were suffocating.
Niall and I would sit and watch, watch them like a movie..
I remember my mom telling me
"If two points are destined to touch, the universe will always find a way to make a connection- even when all hopes seems to be lost. Certain ties cannot be broken. They define who we are - and who we can become. Across space, across time, among paths we cannot predict - nature always find a way."
Nature always find a way.
I stayed in Nialls arms.
"I'm home" I whispered
"You're home." He whispered back.
