Zay's dorm room

As, Zay got settled he checked the bathroom and freshened himself up some. He looked over at his best friend, Malik and noticed he was gone. He went to Malik's room and was looking around, for him. Suddenly he was grabbed from behind.

" BOO!" Malik shouted.

Malik had his arms wrapped around Zay, scaring him.

" Malik, why the fuck you do that!" Zay said, frightened.

" my bad just wanted to scare you was all!" Malik said, as he sat on his bed laying down .

" dude, you a mess, but, what you up to ?" Zay asked.

" haha! Nothing really, I heard there was a party for the incoming freshmen later on tonight, you want to come?" Malik asked looking at Zay with intensity.

" sure, bout time we had some fun"
Zay laughed.

" true, so can I ask you something, Zay?" Malik said, standing up.

" uh sure?!" Zay said, looking curious and a bit skeptical.

" are you gay?" Malik asked.

Zay didn't know wether to say yes or no, wondering where Malik was trying to get at, so he just told the truth.

" yeah, I am.. You got a problem with that" Zay asked , with wit.

" no not at all Bruh, just wanted to know , I mean I knew you were but just wanted to know for myself!" Malik confessed.

" what do you mean?" Zay questioned Malik.

" I just knew, I mean I knew you were, back in high school because you were always with girls and then plus you danced.. So.. yeah!" Malik explained himself smirking.

" that is so stereotypical of a straight guy, to just assume that someone is gay because them being around girls and dancing!.. Really Malik ?!" Zay said, a little irritated.

" what?" Malik asked, noticing the irritation in his voice.

" nothing... I Just.. I don't like ignorant people!" Zay said, as he walked back to his room.

" hold up bruh, what did I do, wrong?" Malik said, catching Zay's arm.

" just that you are so stereotypical and I don't understand why guys like you are like that.. Like I don't have an issue with straight guys but shit like that.. Just piss me off.. Like I didn't ask to be gay, I just am what I am, and second off just because I dance doesn't mean that's a " gay trend" Zay explained, irritated even more.

" hold up, Zay let me explain myself, loud and clear bruh! First off I'm sorry if I offended you in any kind of way, it wasn't my intentions on doing that and second off I don't have an issue with gay people, shit.. Half of my family is Gay but I don't judge anyone, and besides your my best friend and I have known you eversince we grew up together so I don't want you to think that I'm stereotypical or ignorant or narrow minded I'm not like these dudes out here, bruh!" Malik said, as he looked into Zay's eyes intensively.

" oh... Wow!! I don't know what to say?!"
Zay said, looking a little lost.

" you don't have to say anything just know I'm not like these other ignorant niggas out here .."
Malik said, as he pulled Zay in for a hug.

Zay didn't know how to feel but he felt Malik was sincere and he felt he could trust him. Zay felt warm and safe and a bit aroused, so he pulled away quickly.

" did I do anything wrong?" Malik said, as he was looking a bit lost.

" nothing Malik, let's get ready for the party, you know what time it starts?" Zay said, trying to change the mood.
