Chapter 5

 NANASE ,(Y/N)

Everyone started to look at you amazed. You didn't want to look at everyone else's reactions especially, Rin's so you looked down at the ground. You thought is was awesome how you're the team captain and everything, but what about Rin? She wanted to be captain too but who gets the team captain position is up to the Coach.

"I knew it was you, (y/n)" Rin said coldly. "Lighten up Rin, it's not that serious." Akiku said. 

"Yeah, can't you be happy for someone else other than yourself?" Lona agreed.

Rin folded her shoulders and spoke sarcastically "What? I am happy for her." You looked at her and saw that she clearly wasn't. "Rin, do you want to be captain?" You asked. All of the girls looked at the both of you waiting for Rin's answer. She gave you a dirty look on her face.

"No! Don't give me that crap!" She growled "I will not have something be offered to me, instead of getting it myself!" You took three steps forward to her, trying to console her by placing your hand on her shoulder. "Rin, if you want to have Akashi then why won't you tell him yourself? Instead of trying to be equal as him." She suggested. "SHUT UP, YOU KNOW NOTHING!" She slapped your hand off of her shoulder and looked at you dead in the eyes.

"I hope you die! No, I hope that I die. And Akashi will die with me! So you won't take him away from me!" Rin snapped as she ran away with her stuff, from the park. "RIN" you called but she didn't come back. You wanted to cry after that drama that just happened. "Don't worry (y/n), she'll be fine tomorrow " Mika assured. 

"Hey, wanna go to the milkshake place?" Akiku asked "My dad works there so hopefully he can hook us up." "I have to go to the gym to check on Kotaro, he'll freak if he can't find me." You said. "I'll find Akashi and maybe I can help Rin out" Kita planned. You waved goodbye at the Coach as you made your way to the school gym.

You walked into the gym, looking for Kotaro. "Ah, this gym smells like serious sweat. Please tell me the game tomorrow isn't here" Lona whined. "Yep, we also have three games next week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday." Kita informed. "But the Monday and Friday game is elsewhere." Akiku  pointed out. You saw Reo and Eikichi come out of the locker room. 

"Hey, (y/n)-chan. Good to see you." Reo greeted "I heard that you have a game today after us."

"Yep, and I'm the new team captain too." You delivered the news. "Nice!" Eikichi said as he patted you on the back. "Well, gotta go. I need some meat for tomorrow." He left. "Meat?" Mika asked. "Yeah, Eikichi here says that meat makes him stronger in the games." Reo explained "but he always burps out loud and farts it's so disgusting." "So where is Kotaro-kun?" You asked. "Oh, he's at the locker room, he'll be out in a second." Reo answered "well I'm out, see you tomorrow." He left.

You sat on the bleahers with Mika while the others went to the  girls bathroom.

"Are you looking for me, Nanase?" A voice purred at you. The both of you turned around and find Akashi standing behind you with that creepy simle again. "No, I was looking for Kotaro, thank you very much." You said. You turned back around ignoring his welcome. "I am very pleased that you didn't want to meet, you did it instead" he purred, moving closer to you. "I'm not here to see you, I'm here to see Kotaro." You stated. "You know you want me, why can't you have me?" Akashi teased.
