Chapter 9

It was after the one-on-one basketball challenge, but you lost to Akashi by one point. You walked over to the bench to get your water bottle when Akashi came. "Nanase, I will admit that you did good." He admitted "but you need to stop letting me distract you." Distract you? Him? How? He might just be flirting with you like he always do. "I am not distracted by you." You stood up "I just need more drill practicing, that's all." 

"Heh? Not to me, it almost seems like you want me, do you?" He purred as he looked pleased. "Why would I want you? I have what I want." You sat back down, drinking your water. Akashi couldn't help it, but to flirt and get your attention. "Do you have what you need?" He asked. "Of course!" You said "and the only thing don't I need is you trying to obtain me." Akashi giggled as he sat next to you and played with your hair.

"It's pretty tragic how the whole school will hear the deaths." Akashi whispered in your ear, changing the subject, "especially how they would accused a special someone." You figured out that he was talking about you and turned around to face him. "You think everyone's going to accuse me?" You asked. "Well, Rin does have other friends she talks to, and they know you very well now." Akashi giggled.

"What about you? I thought you met up with her after the game?" You questioned. "I did. She seemed fine after that." Akashi informed, "but I didn't know she would commit suicide." Suicide? Why would Rin commit suicide? It's not like Rin had a good reason why she would. If she did what about Shukun? Did she kill him before hand? "I didn't do anything! I know I didn't!" You stated. "I didn't either, but we'll see what police say." Akashi grinned.

"Anyway, there has to be a chance the Rin must've been killed last night when we all went home." You hypothesized, "because the killer needed no witnesses. But maybe when Shukun witnessed the killing, killer might've gotten rid of him, too." Akashi widened his eyes at you, looking impressed you your crime skills you got from Mika. "You're very intelligent, without the empress eye." Akashi said. "Thinking in others point of view is a natural skill of mine." You stated.

"Elegant, strong and smart, you have exactly what I'm looking for, Nanase." Akashi purred. You looked away from him, trying to not let him see you're face, and you didn't want to see his. "You however, are not what I'm looking for." You huffed.

Akashi slithered his head on your shoulder and nibble on your neck. You felt a little pain, like a mouse is chewing your neck. "Akashi, stop! Kotaro-kun is going to see!" You said. "Let him see. Let him see how much you want me so bad." Akashi replied as he moved up to your ear, "Give yourself to me, Nanase." "No! Not to the likes of you!" You refused. The emperor let out an evil giggle as he whispered in your ear. 

"I know you will, Nanase" Akashi whispered "everything I say is correct, and always correct." You turned your head, not looking at the emperor and found Kuroko running towards you. You turned your head the other way and found Kotaro gritting his teeth, while watching Akashi. "(Y/n)-san!" Kuroko called. You quickly stood up and greeted the light-blue haired friend. "Kuroko-kun! What brings you here?" You warmly asked.

"(Y/n)-san, I have something to tell you..." Kuroko paused as he saw Akashi's face stood up with me. "Hi, it's been a while, Tetsuya." Akashi greeted. "Hello, Akashi-kun." Kuroko said. You stood there trying to get Kuroko's attention. 

"Sei-chan! Come over here for a second?" Reo called. Akashi gave one last glimpse of the both of you as he turned his back and left."Oh, Anyway. I have a movie that we can go see at my place." Kuroko offered. "What's the name?" You asked. "Card Heart." He said.

Card Heart: the movie that came out about two weeks ago. It's a horror movie about a rich emperor, who fell on love with an empress. Unfortunately, the empress despises the emperor because he lacks honesty, patience and wisdom. When he finds out that she has feelings for someone else, the emperor kills whoever gets close to her.
