I got home that afternoon and went straight to my room. My mom was still in her room, she took the day off work. I went to my room and began some homework, but I couldn't concentrate. There was too much on my mind. I threw my book and just laid down in bed. I thought about all the memories I had with Sarah. Going to the ocean, the aquarium, her favorite place in the world. We couldn't afford to do it much, but she loved when we did. We would fight all the time, but it would always be okay, because we love each other.

I began to cry again, but forced myself to stop. Forced myself to stay strong. A little while later my mom walked in. "Hi, honey, how you feeling?" She asked. "Okay" I said. "Do you want to visit Sarah at the hospital?" She asked. "Can we?" I asked. "Yes. The doctor has her on chemotherapy." She said. We went to the car and drove to the hospital.

When we got there, the doctor showed us her room. "She's in there." The doctor said, "Just let us know if you need anything." We walked in. "Mom! Carly!" She said excited. What I saw in front of me was the saddest thing ever. My baby sister, with no hair, in a hospital robe. I never thought this would happen. Not to me. "Sarah!" I said. I went over and hugged her. "I've missed you so much" I said. "I don't like being bald. It feels weird. My head is cold." She said smiling. Still bringing smiles to our faces, even when she's so sick. "You're still as beautiful as ever, you know that right?" I said. "You don't have to lie, when I get better ill buy a wig" she said smiling. I smiled back at her. "We'll buy you the coolest wig, whatever one you want!" I said. She smiled. "I can't wait to get better" she said. "Me either!" I said. I know she's going to get better. And I can't wait, she'll be better and stronger then ever.

After spending hours, just talking to Sarah and laughing, visiting hours were over. "I have to leave, but I'll be back tomorrow, don't worry." I said. I hugged her and kissed her head. "I love you, Sarah" I said. "I love you too, Carly." She said. I wanted to cry, but held it in, I've been doing alot of that lately. I walked out the door and shut it behind me. I didn't want to leave her .
