It all started when I jumped out of a window. Yes. A window. Let us start from the beginning. It was just a normal day for me. I just recovered from depression if you must know. And my longtime partner of 4 years cheated on me. I actually thought (he\she)(your choice) was going to propose. I know, my life sucks. My name is Ruby Chase, by the way. And my life officially hit ROCK BOTTOM.
So as I was saying, it was a normal day, of sitting at home and crying my eyes out and not leaving my room because of all the ice cream I have there, but then my best friend and basically sister, Piper ordered me to get out of bed and actually have some fun.
"He/she is not worth it." She said, "It hurts me so much to look at you like this."
To avoid her lecture, and also maybe a little part of me wanted this, I went with her to paint the town red. Little did I know that the town was not the only thing to be painted red.
