At reunion
We arrive at the building. I begin to feel more and more nervous. am I dressed right? Does my hair look ok? Am I pretty enough? Will everyone remember what a loser I was? Thoughts keep running through my head to the point where I'm breathing heavily. Marcus doesn't seem to notice. Sometimes I wish he would be a little more caring. In fact the only time he really notices me is when we're making out. I shake the thought out of my head. That's not what I need to focus on right now. I slowly get out of the car and walk to the door. As I walk in I am surrounded by so many familiar faces. The conversation in the room stops for a split second. The room I s filled with looks of confusion and shock and a few smiles. I guess I might have changed a little. After a few seconds everything goes back to normal. I quickly grab Marcus by the hand and walk over to one of the corners of the room. Along the way a few people come up to me and say hi. I'm beginning to calm down a little more as I see some friendly faces. I make my way to one of the back tables. Suddenly I feel a tap on my shoulder. I gasp when I see who it is. "REBECCA!" I nearly yell. "Colleen omg I'm so happy to see you!" She says as we hug tightly. She's just a huge bundle of happiness. With one hug all of my worries disappear. We start catching up and don't even make it five minutes until Cristina and heather come striding through the door. They smile so big when they see me and Rebecca. I run over to hug them as we make our way to the back of the room again. The four of us, along with Marcus and their boyfriends, Matt Simon and David. Soon enough Kory comes in through the door. He's the only one I've kept in touch with but I haven't seen him in a few months so it was of course amazing to see him again. All of us are having a blast just talking and laughing when we hear the door open again. I turn over to look at the door and my mouth nearly falls to the floor. His blue eyes settle on my own as the whole world stops. A single name comes into my head.
