One month later

Its been nearly a month and the day with Al still haunts me in my sleep. It was a living nightmare. And Marcus hasn't been any help. Shocker. In fact, after I told him what had happened he barely Even reacted. He's also just seemed so distant. We rarely ever kiss anymore and when we do it's usually just a small peck. He always seems in a rush to get somewhere and it's driving me insane that I don't know where he's going.
Later
"Hey I'm gonna go to Rachel's house (you really think Rachel wouldn't be in this?) for the night" I tell Marcus. I just need a break and Rachel is the only one I can talk to. He barely looks up and replies with a simple head nod. It's so normal now that I'm barely hurt. I run upstairs and grab my things as quickly as I can. I leave the house without another word.
