Chapter 12
Faye's pov
I gulped nervously and looked around for another exit because Elijah was blocking the doorway and Elena was blocking the door to my bathroom. However I found none as the only other way to get in and out of the room was the window and that was closed.
"Faye Stefanie Mikaelson Salvatore Gilbert, explain! Now!" She exclaimed and I put my head down. I needed to think of a way out of this as fast as possible. Hmmm... I couldn't do that... or that... definitely not that... BINGO!
"Elena! My full name, really?" I whined hoping to make her forget what she really came in here for. However unfortunately I had no such luck as she just gave me a look to quit stalling. I sighed in defeat. Elena had always known when I was stalling or trying to get out of something. Wether it was good or bad.
"Fine. Elena, remember I told you about how my mum and her siblings were extremely old and powerful vampires and that's the reson that she was able to give birth to me 89 years ago?" I asked her, looking at Elijah carefully from the corner of my eye. He looked confused. I was careful not to give away too many clues straight away or he would figure it out too soon. My adopted sister nodded.
"Yeah, when you first told me about vampires and how you were a born vampire." She said, nodding for me to continue.
"Well what I didn't tell you was that my mum's brothers, my uncles, well the ones that became vampires. Their names were Kol, Finn, Niklaus and Elijah." I said and she and Elijah both gasped when I said his name. Elijah was frozen in shock and Elena was too surprised to talk. It was lucky I had used Klaus's full name or she would have also figured that the big, bad vampire that was after her was also my uncle. As well as Elijah's brother which I'm sure he doesn't want her to know yet. Neither do I want her to know about Klaus being related to me, let alone my uncle.
"Your Rebekah's daughter?" He asked, barely above a whisper but I heard it loud and clearly with my vampire super hearing. I nodded, nervously. Would he accept me?
He stared at me with shock on his face, finally recognising my resemblance to his younger sister.
"But how can that be possible?" He asked. I smirked evilly.
"Well when two people believe they like eachother they-" I begun to say but he cut me off.
"Ok! Ok! I get it! God, your like you mother." He told me with a mixture of disgust and pride on his face causing a extremely huge smile to be placed on my face.
"Who looked after you all these years?" He asked, clearly knowing how uncle Klaus the bastard had daggered my mum. I looked down.
"Someone she compelled who couldn't care for a child if their life depended on it." I muttered quietly and bitterly. He gasped in shock. He clearly wasn't expecting that.
"I'm sorry I wasn't there for you for all this time. However it seems like you have clearly grown into a beautiful young woman all by yourself." He told me, clearly meaning it. I didn't know what to say or how to react. I wasn't sure wether to be happy that he said that and that he has accepted me or exited to finally meet my uncle. But it seemed that my body however did know how to react because the next moment I was pulling him into a hug. At first he was tense bet eventually he relaxed into it.
After a few minutes of talking to my uncle, me explaining how horrible my childhood was and him telling me about him and my mother when they were human, Elijah had to leave. I asked where he was going and he explained his and Elena's deal to me. I nodded and asked if I could go with him to get my father out of the tomb and he agreed that I could come along.
Elena had told me earlier about him being there so I visited him to reveal that I was back in town. We talked to eachover for about an hour after I explained how he was my father and now we were getting on like most father and daughters would.

After a while we arrived at the tomb after Elijah called his witches and they removed the spell that kept vampires in. I was so exited to finally be able to hug my dad with him actually knowing that I was his daughter. I absolutely couldn't keep the colossal grin of my face no matter how hard I tried.
As we stepped in front of the entrance, so we were in full view of Dad and Katerina they both jumped slightly in surprise at seeing us. I gave a slight wave to dad who looked really confused so I gave him a reassuring smile and he took a hesitant step forward while Katerina took one back while I smirked evilly at her.
"Thankyou for having the good sense to be scared Katerina." Elijah told her seriously although a smirk played on his lips. He then turned to dad.
"Your release has been requested." He told him as I grinned. Dad looked confused.
"By who?" He asked curiously, staring suspiciously at me while I gave him my best 'I'm innocent' look.
"The lovely Elena drives a hard bargain but we came to an agreement, she and I." My uncle replied casually before motioning for him to come. Dad, however, shook his head.
"I can't." He said and this time it was me who motioned that it was okay to come out and that the spell had been removed. My father hesitantly took another step forward and slowly walked to the barrier, stopping in front of it before hesitatly stepping over and sighing in relief. I quickly embraced him and we both glanced up at Katerina who had rushed forward to escape but was stopped by Elijah. He looked into her petrified eyes.
"You however will not leave unless I say so. Klaus will want to know exactly where you are when he arrives back in town." He compelled her, pain flashing through his eyes and I was sure that I was the only one who noticed it as well as the pain and guilt in Katerina's eyes and I was confused. What happened between my uncle and her?!
