I threw open the door.

I looked both ways frantically to spot nothing. Maybe their wasn't anything there.  The lights are gone so it's almost pitch black in here.

I slowly walk forward with my hand holding the knife shaking in front of me. I havnt heard anything yet so maybe it is empty.

I walk past the elevator and went to press the button. I immediately stopped as reality sunk in, that I can't use them anymore. I shook my head and walked ahead to find the stairs.

I passed a few door ways then saw a door with a dusty window. I whipped it off with my hand and saw stairs threw it.

"Bingo." I whispered. I gripped my knife that was held infront of me amd slowley turned the door knob. I slid the door open and peeked around.

A zombie snarled and rushed towards me while thrashing its teeth. I gasped and stabbed its eye.

When I pulled back my knife it didnt come out but it snapped. "Shit." I muttered. The zombie fell to the ground below my feet.

Great.. I have no weapon.

I walked down two fligths of stairs with my heavy back pack and saw the main floor.

It's full of them.

They bashed and thrashed around in the large group of maybe fifty. They snarled and gurgled. I went to sprint back up the stairs but in an instant I felt my feet fall from underneath me.

I seethed in pain as I hit my shins on the stair case as I fell. I crunched and turned my head at the human eaters all looking toward me.

My face pales and I dart up the stairs. All I hear behind me is the foot steps of the teeth gnashing things behind me.

Once I make it to the top I fly behind a door and slam it shut. There's no lock because it's a pain door and there's a window so I'll have to move fast.

I jog around the hallways frantically trying to find a reasonably good escape.

I look out the window to see that there are a few biters down there but not enough to catch me. I'm pretty fast if I do say so myself.

I take a left and run into that hallway gliding my hands down the wall. I feel a bump where my fingers are gliding and look to my left.

"Perfect." I whisper slightly smirking. The glass box held on the wall has axe and hose inside of it for fires. In this case I will use it for something else.

I back up to the wall behind me, and kick the glass twice until it shattered to the floor. I grab the axe and put it in my belt hoping it won't fall out or kill me.

I would put it in my bag but I'm gonna need it in a few minutes.

I start unscrewing the hose and see if it's steady to the wall.

The screws seem a bit loose but this is not my biggest concern. I'm trapped in a building with nothing but biters.

I run down the hallway back to the window which the hose trailing behind me. I take my axe and hit the window as hard as I can. The glass smashes into smithereens.

I put my axe back in my belt and grip the hose end with my sweaty hands.

While my heart raises I can bear the zombies getting closer until one hits the window.

"I'm getting out of here!" I yelled to myself. This time now worrying about my volume.

I swig my leg over the edge of the window. "Shit!" I hissed as a part of the extra glass cut threw my pants cause my blood to spill out of my mid thigh.

I watch to make sure theres no glass and I swing my other leg over in a sitting position. I start getting scared of the distance from where I am to he ground. At least a four story drop.

I hold the hose tight and slowly turn around. I dangle from the window while gripping the hose and I begin jumping down the wall like a mountain climber.

The idea was going great as I made my way down, until I felt a jerk from the hose.

I start to panic as I realized the screws must be coming loose. I started jumping faster creating loud noises of my boots hitting the wall.

I look down and see that the biters start noticing my presence. About three biters start walking toward where I have to drop.

I feel another snap of the screws when I am still about I story above the ground. I made my way down a few more feet until the hose stopped.

I thought to myself what I am going to do next.

I look below me to see the biters waiting below. I cringed at my current situation. I thought that maybe if I swing back and forth I'll get enough end sea and jump. I'll land farther away from the biters and I'll get a head start on running.

I start swimming he rope forward and back gaining moe distance and speed away from the wall. I swing once more and jump.

"Ahhhh!" I scream at the uneasy feeling I get in my stomach. I take a hard landing about three meters away from the zombies.

Thank god I didn't get stabbed by the axe though. I grab the axe from my belt and bolt as fast as I can.

As I run I see the hate that blocks the kids from entering the collage anywhere but the entrance. I look to see the entrance is pulled with biters.

I keep sprinting to the wall feeling myself getting more tired.

Once I reach the brick wall I realize that the only way to get on the other side, is to climb.

I stuff my axe in my belt and dig my boot in the lowest gouge in the wall. As I'm climbing my biters are grabbing my attention. I start to panic and I climb faster.

I went to dig my boot in the next gouge but there was no hole. I slipped and fell a few feet before catching my self with the tips of my fingers.

There were now about ten biters below me waiting to sink there teeth into me at any given moment. I take a deep breath and begin to climb.

Slowly but surely, I reach the top. As I look over the top I see the massive forest I drove threw to get here a year and a half ago. I hold my bag tight and jump.

I land hard on my ankle and it starts to swell. But I'm glad I don't have to run anymore.

I start limping unit the wilderness with one good foot.

The sun had set about an hour ago. It's very dark and I don't know what could be lurking around these numerous trees. I climbed half way up a tree and sat in the crook of it. I thought of The Hunger Games and got my rope out to tie myself to the tree so I don't fall.

As I sit the sound of birds and animals fill my ears with a bit of hope and peace. My eyes get droopy and I start to fall into a deep sleep.
