I sighed and answered with the most cheerful voice I could come up with, “Hey Jamie!”

And boom. “WHAT THE FUCK? Why haven’t you been answering any of my phone calls or texts?! Too busy with Harry fucking Styles? I cannot believe my own sister refused to tell me that she has been hanging out with my idol! I had to find out through fucking instagram that you two are basically best friends!” My ear was practically ringing from the high pitch of her voice roaring from the speaker. Harry looked at me frightened with widened eyes from my sister’s loud vocal projection. There were a few issues I had with her accusations... 1. Yes I have been busy, and having Harry around didn't exactly help. 2. I would have gladly told her... eventually. I'm stressed as it is; having her incorporated would have heightened it even more. And 3. I definitely do not consider us as best friends. I've only known the guy for what four days? He might as well be my best friend though since he's never left my side over the time we've known each other. You'd think we knew one another longer than that through observation of our social interactions. Besides, we were a bit flirtier with each other rather than me being friendly with Tylor for instance. But I feel I could tell Harry anything, like I would with my best friend; however, I'd feel more comfortable telling him. In addition, Harry and I do have fun when we're goofing off with each other.  I don't know, it's complicated.

All I did was roll my eyes as she continued bitching at me over the phone with her colorful language. My sister is the definition of a drama queen. In the back of my mind, I pictured her in her bedroom, standing on the bed with fury. Wavy red hair, similar to my own, however mine is a bit more vibrant, bouncing as she grows more and more enraged by the second. Her green eyes, like mine, piercing right through our old family photos on her bulletin board.  Oh well, she’ll get over this eventually. I looked at the time while she continued blustering; it was 7:30 here in England so it must be about midnight there in the states. I would say 'go to bed,' but she would probably murder me with that screechy voice of hers. Trusting my instincts, I didn’t dare complain since the severity of her thundering vocals was bad enough as it is.

We are probably the complete opposite of one another. She’s quite girly, the type where she would freak out if I ever took her to the barn and got a mud droplet on her skin. As kids, I remember her dramatic efforts in trying to avoid puddles and mud patches in the park. A little dirt isn't that terrible... although I did push her in a mud pit once, maybe that scarred her for life? Hmm…

We are not that far apart in age, she’s three years younger than me at the age of sixteen. She definitely didn't remind me of myself when I was sixteen. Our styles are entirely different. I tended to dress a bit edgier while she always wore skirts and heels and all that feminine shit. Don’t get me wrong though, when the occasion calls for it, I do try to look somewhat ladylike. With Jamie though, it was every day. However I have to give her some credit, since behind all the overdone hairdos, makeup, and frill, she does have a highly functional brain. Academic achievement was something we shared in common. I'm proud to have such an intelligent sibling. She’s also quite the social butterfly. Boys were always drooling at her feet and they were constantly on her mind. I never was boy crazy like she was, but I did get my fair share of guys who admired me. Oh and her obsession with One Direction, I never was into boy bands but I did fancy Mr. Johnny Depp and Ryan Gosling. So hot. I better stop fantasizing before Harry notices drool escaping my mouth. Anyways...
