The only thought crossing my mind was How?

Harry glances at my shocked facial expression and was basically pleading me with his green eyes for permission. I briefly look at his four band mates chattering outside. I remember my first encounter with them about a week ago. Gosh has it only been a week since I’ve tumbled into Harry’s arms on our first meeting? It feels like ages…. the things he does to me. Anyways though, the first time I met “the boys”, I have found myself to always refer to them by that name as such. They had literally taken over my flat that day, invited me to a party, and now here I am with Harry. I’ve found myself in the same position as that day, only now I can actually put up with Harry. What’s the harm in it? The gym is closed, lights are still on, and it wouldn’t hurt to befriend Harry’s band mates/best friends a little better.

Harry still waits for an answer. Giving one last thought to it, I lightly nodded my head granting him permission. On cue, his beautiful dimpled smile shows off, the smile rubbing on me to do the same. I step aside, allowing him access to retrieve his fellow British plus one Irish lad. Why am I all of a sudden so nervous? I’ve seen them plenty of times, maybe it still hasn’t registered that I, an ordinary art student from Wisconsin, has befriended a successful multi platinum album boy band and have fallen for its curly headed member.

“Charlie!” a loud voice catches me out of my analytical thinking.

“Louis,” I smile, regarding him as he swept me in for a hug and kiss on the cheek. A blush crept to the lightly pecked area as he pulled away from me, now acknowledging Harry.

“Great to see you again!’ Liam smiles and hugs me as well, all of them filing in.

“You guys too,” I cheerfully piped up. How can anyone not fall in love with these boys? I could only imagine the type of preposterousness those dreadful magazines write about them.

Niall surprises me the most as he picks me up into a tight bear hug. My goodness!

“I’ve been thinking, since I love all foods- well for the most part anyway… I wouldn’t mind trying some of your vegetarian cooking!” he speaks in his Irish accent, releasing me from his strong squeeze.

Bewildered by all of the socializing and what not, flushed and flattered I reply, “Of course, I’ll see what I can do,” I smiled.

“Actually I wouldn’t mind joining in on that!” Louis adds. And like sea gulls fighting over a fish, all of the boys agree to have me cook a meal, even including Eleanor, Danielle, and Perrie. Perrie! That reminds me, I still have to greet the final boy, Zayn.

“Charlie,” Zayn simply nods at me with a smile. He can be so shy sometimes, it’s cute. Being around Harry’s lads seems to comfort me as I lightly hug him.
