So, this is something I've been completely oblivious to until I got my cover for PSMD.
My character, Cyndaquil, was named Chrystal in honor of my godmother, who died a little less than a year ago.
My partner, Snivy, was named Rosa for my OC I role play with, and my love for the Gen 5 games and manga.
Gen 5 is my favorite gen. My partner's species and name are from there.
Gen 2(Through SoulSilver) was my first gen. My character's species and name also kind of some from there, just different spelling.
I GOT THE GAME 2 MONTHS AGO AND JUST NOW REALIZED THIS FACT.
Coincidence? I think not.
