Recap: "You sure?" Mysto-guy (as I am dubbing him until I learn his name) asked.

"Yes Drake (oh! So thats his name), I am sure." Will said.

"So you admit your a turkey?" Drake asked.

"What? No!" Will shouted, causing me to flinch. My heart still hurt as I numbly get up to walk back where we were.

There was nothing more to hear. I heard all I needed to know.

******************************

I sat down on one of the couches and crossed my arms. I felt my face twist into a scowl as Aeolia sat next to me. I guess she could sense what I was feeling because she quietly began to talk.

"He didn't mean that, Addie. You know how boys are. They're scared to admit their feelings," she said. "We all know he feels something for you. It's as clear as day."

"I honestly couldn't care less what he feels," I answered her in a tight voice.

"Addie, avoiding your feelings won't make them go away," Aeolia said gently.

"It worked before, it'll work now," I told her, referring to a situation back in middle school. We were both infatuated with this boy that we knew, but by ignoring my feelings, Aeolia got to date him. Eventually, I felt nothing at all towards them, and later that month they broke up. Turns out he was a jerk that only wanted her body and not her brilliant mind.

"Please just talk to me," Aeolia said.

"You want me to talk to you? Fine, Will can think what he wants and feels what he wants to feel. I don't care," I snapped.

"Addie," she whispered. She knew it wasn't true. I knew it wasn't true. If I thought about it long enough it would make some sense and be true to me then. I was going to respond to Aeolia when Will and Drake walked back into the living room from the place they were in. Drake looked like thay stereotypical mysterious guy that was in every movie. Black hair and light skin, eyes covered by sunglasses and dark clothing. Even though he looked like that though, I could tell he had a fun side.

"Do you guys want anything to drink?" Will asked.

"No thanks," I answered in a tight voice.

"Uh, water please," Aeolia smiled warmly.

Why is she still being nice to him? Why do I care?

"Alright. Drake, tell them about the time when you broke your arm in a bounce house," Will smirked, and I knew it was probably a really embaracing story.

"William! Why that one?" He groaned, then began to tell the story, but I was too zoned out to hear it.

All I could think about was Will. How he had completely disregaurded me as a friend. He could have at least used the word friend, not comrade. As I began to think about that I got to thinking about more things pertaining to Will. We could go back and forth all day when it came to witty commets. His hair was always swept to the left side of his forehead, just touching his eyebrows. The fact that he can fight and sacrifice things for those he wants to protect. The way he promised to stay with me so that I would never be alone and stayed with me those nights. The hidden smiles that he probably thought I didn't notice and the stolen glances. Was it all in my head? Was I just seeing the things I wanted to see when there was really no intention in them? At least not the intention I gave them. Or was Aeolia right? Were boys just that stupid?

"No way!" Aeolia laughed as she kindly took the glass of water from Will.

"Yes, and William has never let me live that down," Drake said.
