Recap: I quickly entered the bathroom and turn on the light, and in there was a closet that had pajamas in it. I changed into the shorts and tank top, and ruffle out my hair a little before sneaking like the assassin I am back to the bed on the opposite side of Addie's.

"Aeolia, is that you?" Addie mumbled.

Oops.

"Yeah, sorry," I whisper back.

"It's fine. Just go to-" Addie never finished the sentence and I hear her start snoring again.

I giggled and whispered goodnight before my eyes felt heavy and I fell in a deep sleep.

******************************

It had been a few weeks since I found Conner in the ally. Will would call him by his native name when Addie and Lexi wouldn't be around, but would call him his American name if either of them were. I could sometimes here secret conversations between them, in that language I didn't understand. Sometimes I would even hear Drake join in.

When I first met Drake I was only infatuated with him based off his looks. Now, however, it was everything. His looks, the way he laughs, the way he can always make me feel better. I feel like I'm starting to become a freaky stalker. Even though I felt all of this, I have been avoiding him, for what I knew what was going to come. Just the same as Addie has been avoiding me.

Addie didn't want to talk about whatever happened in the horror house, as Lexi has frequently called it every time she brought it up. Whatever happened made Addie have nightmares. The first couple of nights were fine, but on the fourth night here, I woke up to someone climbing in my bed.

"Addie?" I groaned, looking at the alarm clock next to my bed. "It's two-thirty. What are you doing?"

I didn't hear anything as she just continued to climb in my bed and wrap her arms around my stomach. Her face pressed into my back, and I though I felt something wet through my penguin pajamas.

"Sorry, sorry, sorry," she mumbled over and over again. "Just please let me stay."

I couldn't say no to that, so I rolled over and combed my fingers through her hair.

"Remember that time when my mom almost kicked you out of my house?" I asked her as she curled up next to me. I was trying to distract her from whatever was bothering her. We always slept in the same bed as kids whenever we would have sleep over. Hell, just the last month I insisted on sharing a bed with Addie because I didn't want to sleep on the couch. She was like my sister.
