Through the Caribbean Sea (Edward Kenway FanFiction)

Chapter One: "La Reina de Oro"

First of all, this is a story that I dreamed not long ago. I hardly remember what happened but there some scenes that are engraved on my mind, and I've thought a story that fits perfect to those scenes. It's a comedy-romance with a lot of adventures and exploits of the most famous captain from the Caribbean sea: Edward Kenway.

I would like to clarify that I don't own the characters that Ubisoft has created (Edward, Jackdaw, Blackbeard...) All rights to UBISOFT. I just created my own character (Luna Bassy) and some random people but they aren't too important.

Also you have to understand that the story don't follow the line of the AC games, because AC IV: Black Flag hasn't come out yet, so I'm inventing the whole story. if you don't like it, just close the window and open a different one. Thank you :)

I'm a Spanish girl (As you can see in my profile) but I'm writing in English, so I apologize for the mistakes you could find on the story, don't hesitate to tell me and I'll correct them as soon as possible! 

This story will contain Spanish vocabulary, but don't worry! I'll write the translation in parentheses. If you don't understand something, send me a message!

It had been weeks since the last time Edward and his crew had seen land. But they were the strongest and dangerous. And they knew it, what it made them more aggressive. But the shape of a Spanish ship in the horizon woke up the pirate soul that every man of that boat had inside.

There's no person in this world that don’t be scared of the Jackdaw. It was the devil of the oceans. Rough, fast, strong and majestic. It was a piece of art lighted up by the sun or the moon.

"We found a boat, Edward!" one of his sailors shouted from the prow “Three in the northwest"

Edward’s eyes turned lightly to see the shadow of a big ship in front of them but it was far away.

"What? huh? Do we board 'em?" Blackbeard murmured with his tipical sarcastic smile.

Edward didn’t reply his question. But he did a violent turn with the rudder, giving his expected answer to Blackbeard.

"ALRIGHT! WE HAVE TO BOARD THAT SHIP, GUYS!!" The bearded man yelled to his men. Everybody started to run, going to their positions. When everybody was ready they started to shout “READY!"

"They are ready, Kenway, it’s up to you" Blackbeard said serious but impatient.

Edward guided the boat till it was parallel to the other boat. Instantly, it started to sound the screams and shouts from the Spanish boat called; “La Reina de Oro" (The Golden Queen).

"I love that siren sculpture!" One of the sailors from the Jackdaw screamed wicked while he pointed with his finger to the other boat “When we finish, I want that sculpture in my cabin!" he shouted again ending with an outrageous laugh.

Kenway just smiled because of the comment.

"PREPARE THE CANNONS!" Blackbeard ordered with a shout.

Everybody prepared the cannons, the metallic missiles sounded when they touched the end of the inside.

"READY!!" everyone screamed.

Edward lifted his arm in signal of notice. “ONE!" Everybody ignited the fuses “TWO!" there was tension, they were waiting for a moment like this for days “THREE!!!" Finally he shouted.
