(LUNA P.O.V)

I woke up with a terrible headache… but I could handle it. I opened my eyes lightly but no light blinded me. I realized it was night. The room had a little window so I opened it and let the air come in.

A freezing blow touched my skin making me feel goosebumps, I shivered immediately.

I decided to stand up and search something to drink, my throat was dry and rough. I opened the door trying not to make any noise. The boat was so quiet right now.

I started to walk trying to not make noise with my feet on the floor. I reached the hatchway. I opened the gate and a refreshing wind hit me in the face, finally waking me up totally.

Nobody was there, it was totally empty. If there were another boat near they would think it was a ghost-ship. I smiled, I love the lonesomeness.

But the name of an old friend passed through my mind, my eagle Kaddow. He was a majestic bird, with strong claws that can rip the arm of a man. His plumage was dark brown mixed with grey and white.

I whistled lowly, it was normally enough to call him. But he didn’t come. Maybe he was already far away from my position. He was free, by the way.

I sighed, I really wanted to caress his soft feathers. But, suddenly, somebody coughed from my back. I turned and I saw the most beautiful bright blue eyes I’ve ever seen. Even that italian boy who I met when I was in the jail hadn’t his blue eyes. Edward could feel proud of his eyes.

"What happens, Captain Kenway?" I asked trying to be polite.

"I heard footsteps and I wondered who was here.. I bet it was you and I won" he mocked. He had a weird way to make jokes. “Can’t sleep, miss?" he added, changing his tone.

I shook my head “I had a perfect sleep, the room is welcoming" I bent my head in signal of education.

He smirked “I’m glad to hear that" He walked next to me and looked at the horizon “it’s a beautiful view"

I nodded, following the direction of his eyes “I always love the sea in the midnight"

"It shows the real terror that gives the sea… it’s dangerous, althought during the day it is calm… there’s a lot of mysteries out there" a peace came from his words that relaxed me.

I didn’t say nothing. I didn’t know what to say. He said everything.

After a few seconds he decided to start his stupid quiz that was making me nervous.

"How do you know english? Do they teach you in Spain?" He was kinda curious about my country, I didn’t know why.

"Nop" I shook my head “They are a big group of bastards that while they have a piece of meat on his mouth they won’t care about the education of children"

Edward chuckled, his annoying habit to chuckle.

"So, you learned by your own?"

"Yeah! - In the prison there weren’t only spanish prisoners, a lot of foreigners are there, and most of them don’t know why they are between rods"

"You do right! Your accent reports you but.. it’s a beautiful accent, in my opinion" He turned his head, pointing with his blue eyes to me. I couldn’t prevent to blush. He wasn’t the most handsome man I have seen, but his beauty was wild.. exotic. With his blonde hair and thin lips. I noticed that I sunk to much in my thoughts because he’s looking at me like I’m mad or something. Yep, I’m talking to myself.

"Thank you!" I said. That wasn’t the best answer but my mouth could have said something worst. I’m so clumsy selecting the perfect words. I’m not that social type of person.
