Trapped into the Hunger Games

Love story??!?!

I woke up this morning to find the others all sleeping underneath me. 

Darn it..

Also, I woke up to see that a.. parachute on top of my head! 

I quickly took the parachute and untied the pack and saw ointment! 

I sighed in relief and applied it to my burns and instantly, it started to sting I had to keep blowing on each wounds.

I was so exhausted from blowing that I looked off to the distance to calm my headache because I was feeling light headed.

Then I saw a someone. 

It was Rue!!

I've never been so glad to see her beautiful face in my life! 

I should have talked to her before to the games to join up with her!

I waved at her and she looked at me with a surprised face. 

Probably didn't expect such excitment to see her.

She looked into my eyes then above. 

I nodded and mouthed "I got the parachute" the best I could while pointing to the ointment that I got from a lovely sponser.

But she shook her head and looked way above that and I followed her eyes.

I saw a bee's/hornet's nest.

I gasped I tried to put everything in my pack at once but she shook her head with dissaprovment in her eyes. I had to run away as fast as I could before I became their victim!

I looked at Rue to do the same but she mouthed No and pointed to the knife that was stuck in the tree a few inches below me. 

I gasped again. 

Somebody tried to kill me while I was sleeping!!!!?!?!?!?! 

I started to get mad and got the knife out. 

I tried to angle the knife to target Glimmer's pretty head, (Well, she's better off gone first anyways, right?) and looked at Rue hoping to see her nod at my gesture but when I looked back at her, she shook her head again. 

This time I was somewhat frustrated at this and shrugged my shoulders up and down, not knowing what I had to do.

She did a bit of charades and took the imaginary knife in her hands and mentioned the bee hive and acted like she was cutting the branch.

I made my mouth into an O and started climbing a bit to get the best view of the nest. 

Okay, So all I need to do is cut down that hive and everything's going to OK because the people down there is probably going to die, but what about Alex?!??! 

I look down but Alex isn't there! 

I was glad but also scared. Did he die? Did I miss that cannon?!?! 

I try to push those gruesome thoughts out of the way and start sawing. 

A few bees that were lingering out there must've recognized my action because a few stung my neck.

I shrieked a bit but not loud enough to wake up the people down there.

The pain was unbearable!

I put my free arm, after securing myself to the tree, to my neck and grab some of the 'bees' out of my neck and now, it hurts more than ever.

I gritted my teeth together so that I wouldn't scream each time a "bee" stung me, and kept on sawing that stupid branch.

After a few more bee stings and a few more quiet shrieks, the branch got torn off from the tree and the hive fell with it.
