chapter five, part two

"luke, just come on out. I'm sure calum won't mind," michael says before sending a wink in calums direction. calums cheeks immediately turned a shade of pink, and he started to tap his thigh with his finger.

"c'mon mikey," luke whines on the other side of the wall. at this point, calum felt a bit guilty. or maybe it was because he wanted to spend time with luke and this situation was stopping that possibility from happening.

calum was pretty sure that michael could sense that he was kind of over the whole joke, so mikey walked over to luke with the shirt, and he handed it to him.

calum heard luke mumble something, unfortunately he couldn't make out the words, and right after, michael laughed.

luke and michael walked back into the kitchen, luke now wearing the blink-182 shirt and a slight blush on his cheeks, and michael wearing a smirk on his lips.

if only he could've heard the conversation.

"hi calum," luke says quite quietly.

"hi luke," calum replies with a smile. they both just kind of stare at each other for a few more seconds, and then michael coughs which gave the air lots of awkward tension.

"so, uh do you want to order a pizza and watch a movie?" luke asks trying to get the tension to vanish.

"yeah I'd love to," calum smiles and follows luke and michael into the living room. the room was quite cozy, it had a black leather sectional filled with a couple blankets, a coffee table that was placed in the middle of the floor, and there was a flat screen television pressed against the main wall.

and don't forget the countless pictures of a very young luke with a girl that looked just like him, most likely his sister.

"dont be shy, you can sit," michael says as luke searches for a movie from a shelf that was next to the tv.

calum sends michael a sly smile and sits down on the couch.

not even ten seconds later, a girl with long blonde hair wearing a pair of skinny jeans and a sweater, comes running through the front door and into the living room with anger flooding out of her ears.

"lizzy, what's wrong?" michael and luke ask at the same time, concern written all over their face.

"fucking girls, that's what," she says through gritted teeth. lizzy walks over to the couch and sits next to calum, not even caring that she was sitting next to a total stranger.

"you must be mr. walmart boy," she says looking at calum, her frown slowly turning into a toothy smile.

"uhm, yeah. I'm calum," he says tapping his thigh with his finger, yet again.

"hi calum, I'm elizabeth, but if you ever call me that you're never allowed here ever again," she states. "so you can call me lizzy, or liz, whichever you prefer. and if you couldn't tell, I'm lukes sister."

"okay," he says, his tapping speed increasing on his lap.

lizzy moves her head closer to calums, before whispering in his ear, "by the way, I've heard lots about you."

calums eyebrows furrowed together as he smiles with an amused expression on his face. his eyes travel to luke who has his head in his hands.

"liz, shut the hell up," he says obviously embarrassed. calum chuckled at luke and looked back at elizabeth.

"okay, well I shall be going to my room," she says standing up.

"bye," luke says, relief in his voice. elizabeth only rolls her eyes and walks to a hallway.

"I believe this is my cue to leave, so bye guys have fun," michael says awfully fast. he walked quickly to the front door and walked out, making the whole situation weird.

calum pushed the suspicion to the back of his head and looked at luke, who just happened to be already looking at calum.

they both smile at each other from across the room. calum honestly wished that it wouldn't end, and so did luke. but unfortunately, they couldn't just stare at each other the whole night.

luke looks back at the shelf filled with movies, and then looks back at calum.

"I can't seem to find a good movie to watch, how about we go out somewhere? if that's okay with you." luke asks with nervousness evident in his voice.

"yeah, that's sounds fine," calum says smiling. they both stand up and that's when calum realized that he had to take a piss.

"do you mind if I use your bathroom?" calum asks as luke turns the tv and dvd player off.

"go ahead, it's right down there," luke says pointing towards the hallway that elizabeth walked down only moments before.

calum nods his head and makes his way down the hallway. for some idiotic reason, he never asked luke where exactly the bathroom was. there were three doors in the hallway, so calum just slowly opened the door that was closest to him.

but when he opened the door, he didn't expect to see what he just witnessed.
