For the first time in Marsha'a life since she became a teenager, she realized how bored she was and boredom wasn't from anything related to school. She was in a different country where she knew no one since her best friends flew out earlier in the day. She would've called or texted them but no.She wanted to step out of the circle.
Something in her wanted her to blame Michael for having to work but she knew she shouldn't. Choosing that the only way to make the thoughts die down was to get some hot food in her stomach, Marsha went for a shower then dressed when she was done.
She chose to wear a rainbow colored tie and dye crop top and white denim shorts. She caught up her hair in a bun then brushed her hand against the shaven back.
(Let's imagine that this was green. I'm too lazy to edit it lol)
She made her way out their suite , to the elevator, then soon she found herself walking through the dining room of the hotel. She sat at a empty table in a far corner against the window then waited for the waiter or waitress.
"Good morning. Would you like a....." Marsha looked up and immediately the boy in front of her trailed off as he stared at her and a grin grew on her face at the familiar face. Finally, somebody I know. "David!" she said cheerily and he chuckled awkwardly as he ran a hand through his dark hair. His Adam's apple bobbed visibly.
"Hi Marsha"he said with a nervous shake in his voice and she furrowed her eyebrows. "Is something wrong?" she asked and he chuckled as he shook his head that took in a deep breath. "No. No. It's just still a surprise knowing that you're staying at the hotel I work at. And we're talking....maybe not like a regular every day conversation but we talk. And it feels unreal... Do you want a menu" he said through one a breath with a blush rising under his skin.
Marsha laughed at the flustered boy as she took the menu from his grasp and thanked him. He was about to excuse himself to go to another table when she stopped him. "David?" "Hmm?" he asked spinning on his heel and Marsha smiled. "What time do you get off?"
The question seemed struck with a surprise and his mouth fell open in disbelief. "What?"he asked distantly and she couldn't help but to laugh. "When is your shift over?" "In the next hour or so"he said still distant and she nodded in understanding. "Meet me at my door when you're done. I need a tour guide"
"Yah. Sure. Okay. No problem at all" he said quickly with a nervous laugh then turned around only to walk up into a table for which he apologized, then went to attend to another table.
