Marsha's mind constantly lingered on where Michael could be as she jogged on the thread mill. 'Maybe he went out with some friends' she tried to ensure herself but as believable as it sounded, she knew Michael only associated himself with the people he worked with.

She shook her head to rid her thoughts then reached to the MP3 player strapped to her hand and turned up the volume. In her ears the song 'Beware' by Big Sean ft Jhene Aiko and Lil Wayne drowned out all the noises around her as she focused on the rhythmic footfalls she made each time.

She could already feel the tightness in her chest affecting her breathing pattern and it felt like the back of her throat was dry. Signs that she had gotten unfit. She fought against the urges to stop running as she continued to jog away her worry. Beads of sweat rolled over down her nose and disappeared in her cleavage until her entire sports bra had been soaked.

'C'mon. You can stop now. You're tired. Let's just go to the shower' her subconscience said to her but she shook her head to herself in disapproval. 'Not yet. A few more minutes, some sit-ups,squats.Then shower' she thought to herself sternly and her subconscience groaned tiredly but refrained from arguing.

After two or more minutes of  jogging she turned off the thread mill then practically stumbled off of it towards her towel. She wiped at her soaked face and her neck then sat down for thirty seconds. After which she laid down on the bench and began to do sit ups. Each cramped her already flat and toned stomach to an extent that she felt like to just lay down and pass out. But she didn't stop.

If she stopped then she'd remain unfit.

After six sit ups she found it almost impossible to do another so she just laid there. Staring at the ceiling as she listened to sound of her quickened pulses throbbing all over her body. She let out a groan as she gave in to her fatigue and closed her eyes. She wanted to get at least a sip of her water but she was too exhausted to get it.

All she wanted to do at the moment was just to sleep. Sleep away all the worries of where Michael was, sleep away the constant messages she got from Ed, sleep away Calum's stupid attitude, sleep away the anxiety from telling her mother about Michael and to sleep away the fact that in less than to weeks she'd find herself alone in her apartment again.

Right now the only person she could tolerate was Bethany, Ross and David. She didn't really have to worry about them. Especially David. There wasn't much about him to worry about. He was an a open book for her. If only Michael was the same.

"I don't mean to bother you but...Marsha?"Marsha opened an eye at the familiar voice and smiled when she noticed who it was. "David. Hey sup mate?"she breathed out tiredly as she closed her eye again and he quirked an eyebrow at her with a smile. "Nothing much. Bummed out?"

"Precisely"
