"Michael" I said uneasily as glanced at his startled face and David's legs tensed under my bruised leg. Michael's light green eyes seemed to dilate as he analyzed how my leg had been stretched across David's lap and how David's hand was rested comfortingly on my knee. He was probably sizing up all the possibilities of what had happened before. "Marsha. Who's this?" he asked slowly and I glanced to David's light blue eyes which stared at me guiltily. "Michael this is David, my friend. David this is Michael my..." "Boyfriend" we all seemed to answer in unison and the tension thickened.

Michael answered in a matter-of-fact tone, David said it in an almost pained tone yet I managed to had said it indifferently. "So what happened? Does this always happened the minute I'm gone you get someone to accompany you in our suite?" Michael asked through a chuckle but anyone could pick out the bitterness. "No. This has been the one time actually. The fuck are you trying to imply?"I asked in a scoff and he pressed his chapped pink lips together ; His eyes sending daggers at both me and David.

"I'm not implying anything sweetheart. I only call what I see. And what I do see is my girlfriend with her legs stretched out over this dick's lap" Michael snarled now glaring pointedly at David and David held up his hands in defense. "Actually. Marsha bruised-" "Shut the fuck up!" Michael practically bellowed at him and I stared at them with my mouth agape.

"Don't fucking scream at him like that asshole. He's not a dick" I snapped throwing the cushion from behind me at him and he let it him across his face. He clenched his jaws and fists as he stared at me then narrowed his eyes. "You seriously just did that?" Michael asked in a low tone of disbelief. "I fell and bruised my knee and he was aiding my wound. Maybe if he wasn't here you would've found me bleeding to death. You don't have to act like a possessive dick Gordon" I growled but I did know that I was being dramatic.

It was also a lie because if he wasn't visiting then I probably wouldn't have even fell.

He seemed to freeze at my words as he stared at David for a while who stared back at him blankly. Michael closed his eyes for a bit and took a deep breath in then he opened his eyes again. Those beautiful green eyes that seemed like they were drowning in rage. "Look I'm sorry for the misunderstanding but me and Marsha are only friends. I wouldn't cross the line. Plus neither would she. I didn't mean to start an argument between you two-" "Oh don't get too cocky Daniel. You haven't caused anything. I should probably apologize for storming in and accusing everyone though" he said under his breath as he glanced to me and I pursued my lips as I folded my arms on my chest.

"You think?" I grumbled as I watched him as he approached us. "I'm sorry babe" he said softly with a wry smile as he bent down to hold my cheeks and pressed a lingering kiss to my lips. Probably I shouldn't have made him do it but I was too caught up with him. His taste, his smell, his lingering gaze, everything. It gave my heart a little blood rush every time I found his green eyes on me. I just wished that he didn't do it just to spite David. He pulled away with a grin and I blushed as I rolled my eyes at him. "Whatever" I huffed through a choked breath as I suppressed a smile and he chuckled.

"Nice meeting you Daniel" Michael said jotting out a hand to David who took it rigidly. "It's David but whatever. Nice meeting you too Michael. I should probably get going " David mumbled as he slowly lifted my foot and placed a cushion underneath it as he stood. And even though I knew they were trying to clear the air, the building animosity between them was too prominent to ignore. They stood at roughly the same height but although David was more built in body and indifferent about the situation, he stuck out like a sore thumb. There was an overconfident air about Michael that David could never possess. I guess fame does things to you.

"You should get going." Michael agreed with a lopsided grin and David strained a chuckle. "Bye Marsha." David said glancing at me with his pained light blue eyes and I pouted. "Bye David" I murmured as I watched him walk away sulkily. Michael plopped down beside me replacing the pillow underneath my leg with his lap as he grunted "What a joke".

I slapped his shoulder with a scowl and he chuckled as he squeezed my thigh.
