"Oh God, Yuna-chan!" Ayumi let the tablet with the breakfast fall to the floor and plunged into the room of the blue-haired. "WATARU-KUN!" The elder stepped in a pool of blood on her way to the hopefully sleeping girl. She put her finger on Yuna's throat to feel for her pulse. "WATARU!"

"I'm coming!" The musician appeared with disheveled hair in the doorway. "Fuck! What happened?!"

"No idea. YUNA-CHAN!" The redhead patted excitedly the left cheek of the girl.

"Go away. I want to sleep.", grumbled the high school student.

"You need to go to the hospital immediately!"

Sleepy, the girl turned around. In pain she sucked in air between her teeth. "What's wrong?", she asked, blinking.

"You're bleeding."

"It's just a scratch."

"You call that a scratch?!"

Yuna sat up with a groan and inspected her surroundings. Damn it. Her whole futon was spilled with blood. And the floor too. Her eye wandered down to her belly, which clearly was the source of all the mess.

"I'll call an ambulance.", announced Wataru.

The blue-haired looked up to him. "No! Wait!"

Ayumi and Wataru stared at the huntress.

"You bleed to death.", whispered the redhead with wide eyes.

"Where did all the blood come from?" The face of the young man was like his roommate's in every way.

"Guys. Calm down."

Ayumi had become very pale. "You could die, Yuna-chan."

"I agree with her. You have to go to the hospital."

"Wait." Yuna lay back down and pulled her tattered T-shirt away.

"What are you doing?!"

"I think, I know what's going on."

The huntress tore away her makeshift bandage. She drove with her left hand over her abdominal wound. She dug two fingers into it, bite her teeth and groped.

Ayumi looked away.

"Are you crazy?!", asked Wataru shocked.

"Shh." Yuna got hold of something. She pulled her fingers out again, and checked them out. "Okay. Everything is cool."

"I beg your pardon?"

The blue-haired breathed a few times. "I shouldn't have eaten anything yesterday. Apparently my intestine is injured and now the spilled leftovers of the food prevent me from healing up.", explained Yuna objectively.

"What are you talking about?" Ayumi looked at Wataru. "Call an ambulance! Immediately!"

"Don't do that. I know who can help me."

On Wataru's face, the emotions were reflected. Did Yuna really know what was good for her? He stared at the huntress, which looked at him, pleadingly.

"Please, Wataru-san. Trust me. I beg you."

"No! No way! Only a doctor can help you.", protested Ayumi. "Wataru-kun! Don't listen to her!"

"We should trust her, Ayumi-chan."

"Now is not the time to listen to your feelings for her."

The musician and the girl faded the hysterical, young woman out. He sank into the depths of her blood-red eye. He could not imagine why, but he wanted to believe the girl. At all costs.

"Are you sure about this, Yuna-chan?", asked Wataru.

"Yes. Please, trust me."

"Okay."

The young man came in. He helped the blue-haired getting up. Ayumi kept talking frantically to them, but at that moment she was no longer relevant. Wataru wrapped the blanked around Yuna and lifted her up, so he could carry her on his arms.

"What are you doing?!" Ayumi was totally beside herself.

The young musician looked at her sternly. "I'll bring Yuna to where she gets the help she needs."

"You both are out of your minds! Only a doctor can help her."

"Ayumi-san, calm down. We've got this.", appeased the blue-haired her roommate.

The redhead only shook her head in disbelief, then she left the room, leaving bloody footprints behind.

"Let's go, Wataru-san."

"I don't know what this all is about, and I can't imagine what you are up to, but I know what will happen, if you get to the hospital. And I won't let that happen to you."

"Thank you. Thank you so much."

The young man could not explain it. All of this seemed wrong and illogical, even unreal. And yet there was this connection with this strange, blue-haired girl he now carried in his arms. Since he had seen her for the first time, he wanted to assist her. To protect and help her, if she needed him to. He endured her aggressive, condescending nature without lament. Mostly. It felt almost like back then.

Yuna was glad that she had Wataru. Of course, she could get by herself to Kitsune, but with his help, she would be faster. And who knows, maybe she could actually bleed to death? It was not worth taking the risk.

Once they were sitting in a taxi, she whispered the address to her protector, which he passed on to the driver. Throughout the trip, they didn't speak to each other.

After a little more than twenty minutes, they got out of the cab at the marketplace. Yuna marched directly towards a restaurant.

"You want to go there?", asked Wataru.

"Yes. I will get help there."

The musician was sure that he was crazy. Maybe this was just a sick dream. How should the girl get help in a sushi restaurant? What was the message of this dream? Should he keep away from her? From her abnormal world?

Yuna entered the store, but froze on the spot in the doorway, while she stared at the creature behind the counter. A humanoid figure, which seemed to consist of innumerable, individual, red glowing eyes, waited for them. An Oni. Here. Her hand went to her left pocket.
