LEX POV
I beam of sun hit my face and I opened my eyes slowly. Snow was falling to the ground and frost covered the train windows. I rummaged through my bag for another sweater and I pulled out Alexander's glamour kills hoodie. Crap. I must have grabbed it by accident. I zipped up the hoodie and gathered my things and made my way out. I stepped off the bus and felt the cold win hit my face, sending goosebumps throughout my entire body. "Oh my god! It's Lex Miller!"
i looked to my right and saw a girl about my age, running towards me. "I'm such a huge fan! I totally ship Millakarth! Aren't you supposed to be on tour?!" I laughed a little, "Thank you and I, um, needed a break. What's Millakarth?" Her jaw dropped and her eyes almost flew out of her head. "It's your couple name with Alex! You guys have similar first names so the Hustlers kinda mushed together your guy's last names! Do you need a ride anywhere?" From one kiss, we had a couple name? I admit, it was the cutest thing ever. "I actually don't really have a plan. I don't know anyone out here."--"Well, I'm Ashley. Since you don’t really have a plan, you can stay with my in my apartment. I have an extra room. i promise I don't bite." I didn't want to stay under a bridge in this cold weather so I agreed and followed Ashley to grab a taxi.
ALEX POV
I laid in my bunk, staring at nothing, twirling my hair. It’s only been about a day and I felt worse than when Lisa left me. I heard footsteps in the bunk area and it was Jack. He slightly pulled back the curtain for my bunk and handed me his phone. It was Lex. I read the texts and tears started forming in the corners of my eyes. "Alex, we're just gonna have to wait when she's ready."---"I guess so... It just hurts. Maybe she’ll come back if you told her the truth yeah?" Jack pulled back the curtain more and stared me straight in the eye. "Do you really love her? Are you dedicated to her?"---"Of course Jack. I wouldn't dream of being with anyone else."---" She’s not in the state of mind and she’s really hurting. If it takes a lifetime, you'll wait for her. " I smiled and got out of my bunk. "Thanks Jack." I hugged him and shuffled to the bathroom.
I hopped into the shower and let the hot water run down my back. I couldn't really stay awake. I just wanted to sleep forever. It sucks knowing that now, when I walk around, her laugh won't be around, I'd have to have someone else be there for me, I wouldn't have someone to lay my head on their stomach and have them play with my hair, and I wouldn't have someone to hug and kiss my head before I went on stage. I guess i'd just have my memories until I find her again.
After I showered, I wandered around the venue and saw Joan crying into Jack’s chest. Everyone didn’t have the usual smiles and it was because of me. I knew it was because of me. I felt like she had feelings for me, but I didn’t know she loved me as equally as I did. “Alex…” I heard Flyzik mumble. I turned around and saw him holding Lex’s guitar in his hands. She left it? I took the guitar from his hands and dashed out the venue. I found my way to the roof and stared out at the city’s horizon. I couldn’t help but think of what Lex was doing at this very moment. I strummed the chords to the first song she had shown me and I felt a tear run, slowly down my cheek. “Please come back Lex.”
