Chapter 23

Gray's POV...

Ugh, work is really stressful this days. And add those slut applicants who keeps on flirting with me. I wanna kick their asses out of my office but i can't do that. I should keep my image clean, though they see me as a cold and serious boss. Well i can't blame them cause that's what really happened to me when Juvia left me. Not that i'm blaming Juvia. I was just too hurt to let her go and i'm still hoping that she will come back to me...i wish i could turn back time and change it. But past is past and all of us should move on. Then someone knocked on my office door.

"Come in." I said as i continued to type at my laptop.

"Sir, the investment in the Lockser's company was succesful and your position there is the president and you have the biggest amount of investment there sir. So, when do you wanna visit that company?" My secretary asked. I knew it. This would be succesful.

"Where's the boss of the Lockser company?" I asked.

"She's apparently at her office in that company. And i heard that she'll stay here for 5 years then will go to paris." -Secretary.

"Okay. Call an emergency meeting on the Lockser company now." I said.

"Yes sir." She said then goes out of my office.

I leaned my head at my swivel chair. This will be a long and tiring day. I admit Juvia, i still love you. And i don't know what to do if i ever lose you...............again.

At the meeting...

Ugh, i'm tired of hearing their presentation. Now i just keep on staring on Juvia. She's really serious about her company. I saw Juvia's reaction when she saw me and knows that i was the president of her company. She's the chairwoman and i'm the president. What can you say about that? Well she changed. She's became more beautiful and cute. Became more hot, sexy, serious, and tough. But her eyes was blank. As in blank. You can't see if she's angry, sad, or happy. But she was serious. The presentation was over and i looked seriuos to the presentor. I say it's not good.

"Is that all?" I said seriously. I should and i have to be serious about this. For Juvia and my investment's sake.

"S-sir?" The presentor asked once again. I guess she didn't understand. Yes, the presentor was a girl.

"I mean, okay, i'll be straight to the point. It was not good for me. I mean, that's all you can do? From your presentation, you just make me feel regret on investing on this company." I said. Sorry to hurt you but that's the truth. They say, truth hurts.

"I agree on Mr. Fullbuster. Is that all you can do? My ghad. I gave you 1 month to think and to present good and that's all you will present to us?! I see it as a piece of trash. And it doesn't belong on my company, it belongs to the trashcan." Juvia said.

The girl looks down. Then breaths in then looks at us.

"I'm sorry ma'am, sir. If you'll give us a chance we promise to give you a good presentation." The presentor and her groupmates begged.

"No. I've made up my mind. I will choose another group for this project. Do you agree with me, Mr.Fullbuster?" Juvia asked then looks at me.

"I agree on Ms. Lockser." I said then she nods.

"Ms. Juvia, please, we need this project." The group mate of the presentor said.

"No. You can get out now." Juvia said. Then they leaved.

Me and Juvia are the only ones left here in the meeting room. She was working on her laptop and she looks hot in that. Gosh! Get lost dirty thoughts! Ugh! You're such a loser! I shaked my head from all this thoughts.

"Are you okay Mr. Fullbuster?" Juvia asked.

"Y-yeah. Just a headache." I said.

"You eat already?" -Juvia

"Nah. And i don't think i have the time for that." I said as i work on my laptop.

"So, is that the reason why you became thin? And you already have eyebags there." -Juvia, stopping herself to laugh.

"But still i look handsome." I said as i look at her and smiled.

"Nuh-uh. Who told you you're that handsome? You already looked like a zombie." Juvia said.

"Fine. Fine. Wanna go out with me?" I asked.

"K."she said.

She started packing up her things and left the room. I think she will put her things inside her office. And i have an office here already. Of course i am the president of this company. Then i go out the room too. She was talking to someone over the phone. I accidentally heard their conversations.

"Okay honey...i'll be there...what do you want?... Oh okay so you want chocolates....yes, i promise...bye." Then she turned around and saw me.

Tch. I hate the fact that she's calling someone "honey" she has a boyfriend already? Tch. I'm going to steal her from that guy. Tsk.

"Hey, ya ready?" I asked.

"Uh yeah. Let's go." She said and we headed to a certain restaurant.

"So, how's life going on now?" Juvia aksed suddenly.

"Hmm...i'm still alive and i'm bearly breathing." I said. She laughed a bit.

"I'm fine. I owned a company and i know you already know that. Nothing much." I said as i eat.

"Okay." She said.

"So, how are you and....lyon?" I asked. She paused for a moment and showed a fake smile to me.

"Uh, w-were fine. Yeah. Were fine." She said while laughing awkwardly.

"You're not fine." I said. Cause i can see it in her eyes.

"Enough with that stupid conversation. Haha. So how about you? How's your lovelife?" She asked. Changed the topic. I guess she's not comfortable to tell that to me.

"Still single and ready to mingle....and to be a father..." I whispered to myself the last words.

"Oh, okay." She said.

We finished eating and we have an awkward atmosphere here. I drove us back to the company.

When we entered the company, we heard some rumors and such. She just ignored it but i overheard the other gossips.

"The team that presented to them quited. Ms. Lockser is really a cruel person." Said the employee.

How mean. How dare her say those words to Juvia? Juvia gave them a job then they'll just treat her like this? She's just being a proffesional. Tss. Losers.

Then she entered her office and i entered mine. This day is a blast! But who's that person she called "honey"? Then i would steal her away from him. I don't know who's that guy but i know i could win her back. It's not easy but that's love after all.

I'm really Busy this days...

And my mind is always preoccupied...

And we don't have internet anymore...
