I woke up to a bunch of new messages from Kaitlyn. I know she really wanted me to go, but I wasn't in the mood for a party. I decided to call her before I got out of bed.
" Good morning Kai-"
" Where were you Justine?" Kaitlyn asked
" I stayed home"
" You missed out Justine, the party was booming!"
" Booming?" I asked.
" Yeah, it was lit" I could tell that she was excited
" Are these code words for drugs?" I asked scratching my head.
" No girl!" She laughed. " The party was fun"
" Oh, makes sense now"
" We're going to the mall today, you wanna come?"
" Yeah, I'll get dressed now" I hopped out of bed
" I told Damien to pick you up at y'all bus stop since he just got a car so call me back when you're ready so I can text him"
" Okay" I hung up and walked to the bathroom. I took a quick shower and did my hygiene routine. My parents were working so I had the house all to myself.
I put on a cute outfit and called Kaitlyn
" I'm ready" I said as I grabbed my purse.
" Okay, just walk to the spot. I'm texting him right now" she hung up.
It was chilly outside, but it was bearable. I walk to the bus stop and waited for Damien. It him about five minutes to arrive. I got into his car and he greeted me with a smile.
" Hey Justine"
" Hi" I smiled back and kept my head turned toward the window.
I felt him staring at me but I didn't acknowledge it.
" I peep the tattoo" he said smirking
" I got it a couple of months ago with my belly piercing, is it noticeable?" I asked. I have a small lipstick mark tattoo on my lower stomach; I thought it was cute.
" Yeah"
" Really? My parents doesn't know about the tattoo yet" I ran my fingers through my hair. I started to get nervous.
" If you keep it covered you'll be okay, but I like it" he said
" You do?"
" Yeah, I think it's-" he said something in a mumble tone.
" What?" I asked
