When we reached the train, Jacob carried me to my bed. I sat down and removed my cloak sloppily, I looked at Jacob and he was looking out the window in anger. "Jacob." I walked towards him in a zig zag line, when I was going to fall he caught me. "Whats the matter?" I asked laughing. "You need rest Anastasia, come on." Jacob carried me and tucked me in my bed. "Jacob.." I called out to him while closing my eyes, ready to go to bed. "Mhm? What is it my dear?" He sighed. "I love you..."

When Anastasia told me she loved me, I did not reply back as she has fallen asleep, her grip loosening on my hand. It definitely did take me by surprise, I didn't know if I should have said it back. I quickly went out of the cart and searched for Connor, ready to beat him into pulp.

"Where's Connor?" I asked as I saw Henry and Evie talking extremely close. "Did I interrupted something?" I raised a brow and smirked crossing my arms. "Not at all. Connor is accompanied by Sam on a task." Henry said politely. "Evie can I talk to you for a moment, sweet sister?" I grabbed her arm, not wanting to hear an answer. Evie smiled apologetically at Henry and followed Jacob.

"What is it this time brother dearest?" Evie's tone dripped in sarcasm. "Anastasia's drunk. She told me she loved me!" I whispered loudly, almost panicking. "Isn't that a good thing? Since you love her too? Just tell her you fool." Evie's fave brightened up, and a smile was on her face. She thought that Anastasia could actually loosen her wild twin from his stupidity.

"I do Evie but-" Jacob was cut off from his older twin, as she did not want to hear his mumbling. "Enough brother, just tell her. You'll be fine." Evie patted me on the shoulder and patted me on the back, as she went back to Henry and continued where they left off.

I woke up with banging in my brain, I groaned and moved slowly. I opened my eyes, and the sunlight struck my view, I quickly covered my eyes with my wool blanket. "Wake up my love, today is Friday. I told Sam about your little date with Starrick." Jacob hissed. "Here, have these it'll help with the pain." Jacob found my hand under the sheet and put 3 tablets in my hand.

I swallowed the tablets and removed the wool blanket from my eyes to get a look at him. "thank you." I said in pain, as he gave me half a smile. "Come on, I made you a hot bath." The smile was still on his face as he helped me off the bed. "I'll be on the bed if you need me." He winked at me as I rolled my eyes. I covered the bathtub with the Japanese doorway curtain that I brought all the way back from Japan. I removed my clothes slowly and got in the bathtub, letting my long brown hair soak.

As I sat on Anastasia's bed reading the newspaper, I heard Sam's laughter, then it was followed by Connor's voice. I felt the rage in me come back. I folded the newspaper on the bed and jumped on my feet. "I'll be back my love." I told Anastasia in a loud voice enough for her to hear. "Sure." She said lifting the Japanese doorway curtain enough to look at me.

"May I have a word with you." I demanded Connor, rather than asking. Evie looked at Sam, as he shrugged his shoulders not understanding what is happening. As I went to the other cart, Connor followed. I closed the cart door and shoved Connor to the wall, with a firm grip on his collar. "Stay away from Anastasia!" I shouted, as he gave me half a smile.

"Who are you? Are you someone who is with her, Jacob? I'm afraid not!" Connor pushed my hands off of his collar. "Sorry to disappoint, but I am." His face expression changed to a frown, his eyes traveled to the door and then back at me. "Is Anastasia even aware that this is all a challenge between me and you to get her, Jacob?" An evil smile grew on his face. "Its not to me-" I was cut off by Anastasia's voice, I never realized she was in the room.
