AN: (This is Anastasia's new outfit btw hehe..)

--

3 months later

Evie had noticed Anastasia's dark circles under her eyes. Noticed the cries in her sleep, nightmares that haunt her even when she was awake. Evie noticed that Anastasia's aura is changed. Her breakfast, lunch and dinner was mainly her poison, her liqueur.

Anastasia was trying to track down her so called sister, trying to get a hold of her mother and father's journal, trying to find anything that mentioned the name Lilith Cobain.

"Anastasia.." Evie entered the cart, looking over Anastasia busy doing her research. She called out her name trying to catch her attention. "Mhm?" Anastasia hummed, not removing her eyes from her mother's journal.

"Henry, he's coming back tomorrow, isn't that great?" Evie gave out a nervous laugh. Evie also noticed that Anastasia looked exhausted, she wasn't like her usual self. She didn't know how to help, even though now they both consider each other sisters. Evie thought that maybe as soon as Jacob comes back, things will be better.

"Mhm, that's marvelous." Anastasia's eyes were still focused on her mother's journal, barely interested in Henry's return. Before Evie could say anything, Anastasia slammed the journal and got up.

"I'll be out, and I'll be back late." Anastasia quickly jumped off the moving train, Evie knew she needed to write to Jacob and Sam to tell them what has been happening lately. Evie couldn't bare to see Anastasia like this anymore. The sweet, kind hearted, stubborn woman she knew was no longer the same.

"Tell me where she is! Now!" I punched the blighter's face, breaking his nose this time. His scream echoed in the alleyway. "You damned woman!" The blighter cried.

"Tell me now." I warned, my voice more low, I was done with his whining. "No one knows where she is." With that, there was no use with this man. My sword went into his gut, the life coming out of his eyes.

I was done with tracking down boss blighters, I was too angry, too confused and fragile. So, I decided to make my way down to the fight club. Letting my anger go and feel just a little better.

I haven't heard anything from Lilith in a month, which is driving me crazy. She's hiding and waiting to attack, but I have to attack first. But, what if she was my real sister? I'd be killing my only family I have left.

The bell in the fighting ring woke me up from my thoughts, four big men were ready to attack me. Unfortunately for them, they were wrong about bringing me down. The four men were down in 3 minutes, five more of them coming into the ring.

After a long match, I got the money I didn't really need and went back to the train.

As I entered the train, Evie was already in bed. I removed my boots and my cloak. I laid down on the floor next to Evie's bed. "You're late." She said with her eyes closed.

"And you're not asleep." I said starring at the ceiling of the moving train. "Couldn't sleep." She said shifting in her bed to look down on me. "Are you alright?" I ignored Evie's concern, not really wanting to lie and say I'm fine.

"What if she's really my only family left?" I asked not wanting to look at her. "But you have Sam, doesn't Sam count?" I ignored her question once more. "Evie what if she really is my sister? Like she claims to be?" This time I faced her, looking her in the eyes.

"Well...the only way to know is to find out." Her answer was hesitant at first. "I didn't find anything in my mother's journal. I can't find my father's. But you know, she does look like my mother at her youth." I said.

Evie gave me a small smile, but concern was in her eyes. "I need to search for my father's journal."

"Anastasia, get some rest and do that later, now come here and sleep." Evie patted on the space that she laying down earlier. I stood up from the floor and laid next to her. "Goodnight." Evie said blowing the candle.

"Goodnight Evie..."
