A New Adventure: I Waited For WHAT?

"Everything you've done.. I know now.. for me.. and Camelot.. For the kingdom that we built-"

"You would have done it without me"

"Maybe.. I want to say something I've never.. said to you before.. Thank You.."

'Thank you..'

Those last words of the once and future king of Camelot was what he remembered of that time. His precious king- no, best friend, had died in his arms. He could never forget those memories and bonds he's created with him. He'd given him a reason for his magic. He was born to serve him. No matter how much of a dollophead he was.

The Great Dragon, Kilgharrah, had told him that their legacy would be spread throughout history. The great story of a great king and his trusty servant. And with that, the fallen king would then rise again.

So far, the Dragon was right. Their story was spread among Austorian legends in movies, wikipedias, books, and others. Those who read or heard about them only knew them as a legend. Merlin beg them differ, for he was there when it all happened. But they don't know that. He couldn't tell them. He was a warlock of the 5th century. If he told them, he would have to explain how he was still alive after 16 centuries.

Merlin had been using the aging spell he always uses to conceal his real identity. Like the time he used it to use his magic and try to heal Arthur's father, Uther Pendragon. Or the time when he used it to prevent Guinevere's execution for the -false- accusations of enchantments and sorcery.Or the time when he used it and climbed up the mountain to ensure Camelot's victory against the war with Morgana's army.

'Morgana'

The thought of her still haunts him. He wanted to forgive her for everything she's done. He still wants to. Afterall, it was his fault for what she became. She was lonely. If he'd told her about his magic, he could've saved her. He was the the only one she trusted, yet he betrayed that trust. But the path she chose was not easy to forgive. No matter how many times he tried, he could never forget the look on her face when he stabbed her. It was the exact same look she had when he tried to poison her.

He wanted to go back in time. Change his decision. He should've told her.Maybe if he did, Arthur would've lived and Albion would have been united. Magic would've been free. And Morgana would be there, smiling with them. They would have lived happily ever after...

'Maybe that can still happen' The  thought appeared in his mind.

If Arhur were to be reborn again, then surely Morgana would be too. And not just them, maybe all his friends too. The knights of the round table, knights of Camelot, Will, his mother and father, Freya. Maybe there is a possibility...

He did not want to wait anymore. He was eager to find them. Whether they were ready or not, he was going to find them. To know them once more.

A new adventure was ready for Merlin.

A/N: Hello there! This is my first ever Fanfic in my entire life! I will try my hardest to update every week, depending on how many people appreciate my work. Please leave a review, rate, or something. You can tell me what I'm doing wrong or if you want to add something to the story you can message me. Don't worry I won't leave you uncredited. There are multiple pairings  in the Fanfic such as Arthur/Gwen, Merlin/Arthur, Merlin/Morgana, Merlin/Freya, Gwen/ Merlin, and Morgana/Arthur. But the least liked pair, will be gone. They'll just be friends, or something. So message me your least liked pair. But this story is mostly Merlin/Arthur and Merlin/Morgana.

About this chapter: It's just a little prologue like most stories.

Setting: A medium sized town near the Lake of Avalon in the 21st Century.

Plot: Merlin is in search for the reincarnated King Arthur, Queen Guinevere, The Lady Morgana, along with some other friends only to face the problems of the 21st Century.

This Fanfic is my version of Season 6 of Merlin, if BBC  were to continue the show.

I give you my thanks.
