~~ Dream World ~~
Good, I'm back again. But where am I?
She woke up in a place she's has never been before. She looked around, to see if she saw something familiar, but she didn't recognize anything around her.
She started walking to an open area, to see if she could see something she knew from there. But she still didn't recognize it.
She didn't know what to do, so she started running.
She ran and ran and ran, but she came nowhere.
Alec? Lissa? Jessa? Someone? Please! She yelled out, in the hope someone was near.
Well, well. Are you lost my dear? Someone said from above her.
Who are you? Have you seen my friends maybe? Charlie asked back politely, in the hope the stranger in the hood would answer.
My name isn't important for now. And yes, I did saw your friends. They got taken away by some warlocks and their friends. I can't tell you where they are now, but I can help you find them, if you want? The stranger said, but her voice sounded a bit unsure.
Can I ask, what do you mean by taken by some warlocks and their friends? What did they do to be taken? Charlie tried to look under the hood to see who it was, but she couldn't see a thing.
I mean, that the warlocks took them to their lair. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I only saw them being dragged away.
Oh god... Please, does your offer for helping me find them still stand? I asked the stranger, worried now.
It still does yes, but I can't help you long. When I wake up, I'm gone.
Yeah, me too so that's that. So the stranger was living in the real life too. Good to know.
Now that I'll help you, you deserve to know my name. My name is Limoni, I'm a hunter, and warlock myself but I don't like that very much so don't remind me.
Ooh nice, cool name. My name is Charlie and I'm a Banshee Mermaid hybrid, not very usefull but yeah. She said a bit unsure. She really hoped Limoni would take off her hood, but didn't ask.
So, should we start walking then? I know from where they were taken.
Yeah, sure. Let's go.
After that they started walking. They walked for what seemed like ages, but once they were done, they were back at the place where Charlie last left them in the battle because she woke up.
Oh god, I left them here last night. I should've stayed and help them, if I did that they wouldn't have been taken. Charlie said, her voice dripping with guilt.
It's not your fault, if you stayed they would still have been taken. And you would been taken with them, and you would've died.
Charlie looked at Limono confused.
Why would I have died? If I fought?
You would've died, because the warlocks would have put a spell on you, to keep you here so you couldn't escape. And that would've meant that your body in the real world died, as you won't get back in there anymore.
I never knew that could happen. Are all warlocks that bad? Or only these?
No, only these are bad. When I stay here and can't find a place to stay safe, I often stay at some warlocks to stay there and get food. And they are so nice, bit weird but nice.
Can't we go to them? Ask them for help maybe?
I don't think so. They wouldn't want to fight other warlocks, we could better go to my hunter friends but that could be tricky, seen as they like to kill things.
Charlie thought everything through, but all of a sudden they heard a noise in some bushes further in the forest.
Charlie grabbed her weapons and Limoni jumped in a tree and grabbed hers.
Limoni, can you see what makes that noise? Charlie whispered to her in the tree.
No, but I think you should hide somewhere, just to be safe.
Yeah, I will.
She started walking to a big tree to hide after, when she felt the waking up feel again.
Limoni had it too apparently, because she said to Charlie from her tree: I have to go, Charlie. I'm sorry! Stay safe.
I have to go too, Limoni. Good luck after waking up!
Thanks, you too! And she vanished.
Shortly after that Charlie woke up too, to the face of her sister Mea.
"Finally, you're awake. You know you're coming with me to school today, right? So quickly. Get dressed and all so we can go early."
"Yeah, I remembered. I'm coming." Charlie sighed back.
She kept thinking about Limoni. She had to live in the same timezone as her, because she woke up at the same time to go away.
She got dressed in her most comfy clothes, thinking about next night, if they would see each other again and if they would find Alec and the rest. She hoped so.
But for now, she had to face the challenge called school and her own mind. With the other thoughts now mixed in too.
Today will be horrible...
And she went down to meet her sister at the door.
