On her way to school, Charlie's mind was flooded with thoughts. With her sister beside her talking and singing along with songs, she could just think. Although the thinking only made it worse right now.

She was worried about her friends, if they were okay. She was worried and curious about Limoni. She kept thinking about herself and her problems. And she was immensely triggered with a big urge to hurt herself.

She begged and prayed that today would be over soon.

"... But then I liked that dudes picture on instagram, and we started talking and now he wants to see me sometime! Amazing, isn't it? Hey, are you even here?" Mea asked Charlie.

"Yeah, I am. You should go out with him, maybe he's the one for you, finally." Charlie answered, only half listening.

"I thought that too. Do you mind if you have to get back home alone after school? Maybe I can meet him at the mall this afternoon."

"No, I can walk. Don't worry, go have fun. Should I tell mom where you'll go."

"No! Please, no! And thank you!" After that they arrived at the school and both got out. Mea started walking to her friends, yelling in excitment. And Charlie was searching for Meagan.

She saw her standing in the hallway with Ilony and her boyfriend. Charlie sighed but started walking towards them.

"Hey, Char! You look like dead. Did you get any sleep?" Meagan asked, a bit worried.

"Yeah, I got sleep. Just not enough." Charlie walked to her locker to put her stuff in and grab her books.

"I'll see you in the break?" Charlie asked Meagan.

"Ooh, I'm sorry Charlie. I'm going with Ilony and Mac to the shops, get some food. You can come if you want?" Meagan said, looking quite ashamed of herself, probably.

"Oh, no. Thank you. It's fine." Charlie smiled and walked to her first class, German.

She sat through it, thinking. And unconciously scratching her skin sore. When she heard the bell and packed her stuff she felt the pinch in her arm.

She walked to the toilet to dip it with some water, maybe ease the pinch.

While she was there, hurrying, she heard a voice she had heard before.

She heard the voice of Limoni from her dreams.

She started looking around and saw a group of girls standing at the end of the toilets. All with blonde hair, except 1, she had mousy brown hair. And she looked stunning.

The girl with the mousy brown hair looked Charlie's way, and she froze. She looked at Charlie in shock and awe. She looked stunning without the hood on.

Is that really Limoni? Is she here? At my school?

Charlie quickly ran out of the bathroom to her next class. Still flustered and shocked.

But she still thought. Why was she so in awe of her? She couldn't like a girl. People will laugh at her and bully her, even more.

And now the concept of her sexuality flew into her mind. She couldn't have that right now, she didn't want to think about it right now. Why does she think about it?

She didn't even pay any attention to the lesson at all, just sat there because she had to.

The bell rang and she stood up, still dazed but she could move.

It was lunch time so she walked to the lunchroom, grabbed a bottle of water and just drank that.

"I'm sorry, but can I talk to you?" Charlie heard a voice saying behind her.

She turned around and saw Limoni standing there.

"Ofcourse, here or somewhere else?"

"Outside?"

Charlie nodded yes and walked with her to the bleachers outside.

"It may be really weird that I ask this, but do you, like, visit a world in your dreams? Like? Do you go to the same world every night again?" Limoni asked, really ashamed, blushing, her hand rubbing her neck.

"It's not weird, because yes. Yes I do go there." Charlie answered.

"Oh really? Oh thank god. So if I may ask? Did I see you last night?" She asked, still ashamed.

"Yes, and I saw you too. But you kept your hood on, so I didn't know it was you." Charlie said, slowly and calmly.

"Yeah, I always keep that hood on... I am too ashamed that I go there, so I always hide myself. But I can't not go there."

"Why are you ashamed to go there?" Charlie asked, a bit confused.

"Because I am the only warlock in my family, so no one ever visited there. And when I told them, they made me feel really bad and told me to figure out a way not to go there. So I hide now for like when I meet real life people, like you. But if I may ask, how can you, as a Banshee Mermaid hybrid, go there? You don't possess magic, and you often just go there if you have magic."

"I don't know. I never questioned it. I met my friends from there and just always go to them. I visit them mostly every night, until last night because they got taken away." Charlie said a bit sad.

"Maybe we can find a way to meet each other every night. And tonight, so I can help you find your friends. Are they real life or dream people?"

"From what I know dream people. But I did see someone a few days ago in this world who seemed really much like one of my friends."

Limoni nodded and looked really thoughtfull. She made a small sound, of acceptance and remorse.

She stood up and walked away, Charlie rushed up to walk after her.

"Limoni, what's wrong?"

"Uhm, sorry, Charlie. Nothing. I just have to go. I'm sorry." And she rushed off. Limoni kept standing there, dazed.

She just shook her head and walked off to her locker.

She waited until the next lesson and just sat in the benches.

What did I do wrong? Did I say something?
