When it's just us
Going home on the bus
We don't even need to speak
When our eyes meet
In know what you're saying
And I know that you're praying
That our wishes will come true
Because I love you too.
We don't have to be at the top of a Ferris wheel
For me to know what we both feel
What we have is strong
It will last so long
When we are together
It will last forever
No need to rush
When it's just the two of us
Do you remember the time
On the beach,with that mime
You followed him around
And didn't make one sound
Then he turned your way
And you really made my day
By giving him a look
As if to say he's nuts
We do fun stuff
When it's just us
But it won't last that long
When you asked me what was wrong
I didn't know how to tell you
So I made this poem to show you
That it can be us two anymore
There will a pitter patter on the floor
Of tiny little feet
That we have the pleasure to greet
So when it's just us
Going home on the bus
We won't even speak
For the thoughts of a baby is so unique❤️
What do you all think ! I decided on this one because all of my baby cousins have been born recently so I think this is how it would go in a poetry world 🙂
