Melissa sat at her desk staring at all the notes she had taken. She sighed and stood up, and then looked at her creation. She didn't think that a vocaloid could almost break at the memories planted in their core, but that's what she had figured out through her, so she now knew to give the memories from the brain she was provided little by little to the bot.
Since the memories she was supposed to give were in the bot's core, and her voice was fixed, she awoke her. "Vocaloid nine, please wake up."
Aiko opened her eyes and looked down. "Yes?"
Melissa was surprised at the new action, so she then asked, "Aiko? What's wrong?"
Aiko looked at her and responded. "I remember, I saw my parents...they were sleeping...and I saw them murdered. Strange people, surrounding them...and one of them was looking at me, and they took me to my room, and told me that mommy and daddy were sleeping. All lies, horrible, disgusting lies." Aiko looked back down and growled.
Melissa quickly wrote down what she had said and thought, "This is amazing...she remembers each memory so vividly..." She finished writing and looked at Aiko. "Well Aiko...you seem to be showing good progress...can you sing the scale for me?"
Aiko sighed and sang the scale and looked at Melissa when she finished. Her voice now sounded like a human's, so Melissa smiled and checked off, singing. "Good job Aiko, now, I think it's time for you to meet some new friends, okay?"
"Okay..." Aiko was led to a room, and she then saw different people just like her, talking and having fun. But as soon as she took a step in all the others stopped talking and stared at her.
They then all asked in unison. "Who are you?"
