Chapter 5

It had been two days since Aiko had started rehearsing with Len and Rin. She had finished learning the song and was now learning the choreography. Since they took a break, Aiko was sitting against the wall and re-reading the lyrics, when she felt someone standing over her. She looked up and saw Len and smiled. "Oh, hi Len!"

Len smiled back and blushed a little. "Hi Aiko..." He held his hand out to her and pulled her up when she grabbed his hand. She almost fell over but her fall was softened. She realized that she was on top of him. She blushed and got off of him. "S-Sorry..." Len smiled a little and scratched the back of his neck.

"It's alright..." Aiko smiled shyly and picked up her papers. "So...what did you need to talk about...?"

"Oh...um...I-I was just wondering...um...if you're ready for the concert coming up!" Len laughed nervously as he looked away.

Aiko was a bit confused but answered. "Well...I think so...but I don't think I'm all that good of a singer...you and your sister are so much better..." Aiko looked down and shuffled the papers in her hands.

"What?! You are amazing! I've never heard a voice like yours before...it's cute how sweet it sounds..." Len blushed and looked at Aiko.

Aiko blushed and looked away. "R-Really?"

Len nodded and walked to the door. "Really..." He opened the door and stepped out. "Well, I gotta go, bye Aiko..." He left and closed the door, leaving Aiko by herself. She sighed as she picked up her stuff and went to the room she was assigned to stay in. She set her stuff down on her desk and sat on her bed. She searcheed through her head and found a new feeling and memory in her.

She felt...love...and the new memory surged through her head, and she then recited it to herself. "Len Kagamine. He was my best friend, and one day we were outside of our school yard and he told me that he loved me. I said I loved him back...and he kissed me.." Aiko sighed happily and fell back on her bed. "I'm in love..."
